Virtual Internship
A virtual internship is a work experience placement that students can do from home.
During the internship, students communicate with their mentor through a range of
resources, including Skype, Microsoft Teams, email, webinars, and Slack.

Holroyd Pearce said: “The intern will meet virtually with their supervisor to discuss
projects and progress. There might also be key times that are made available for online
coffee breaks or catch-ups with colleagues”.

Virtual internships (sometimes called remote internships) will look great on your resume
and will give you some valuable work experience, which you can draw from when
applying and interviewing for graduate roles.

“Virtual internships are for anyone and everyone,” commented Holroyd Pearce.
They offer students who are unable to complete a traditional internship “the
opportunity to gain valuable employability skills
Challenge 1 Realizing What Teaching Internship is All About
1. Write a paragraph starting with;

I need to do a teaching internship because it gives students the opportunity to put their
study into practice. It allows me to combine career-related experience by participating
in organized, supervised work, and it aids in the development of leadership abilities. It
also gives me a competitive advantage while I seek a permanent position.

2. Which of the four phases of internship seems difficult? Why?

Based on my experience, the phase that appears to be the most difficult is the
final demonstration and completing school forms because my final demo was done
virtually, making it difficult to access students because not all students are capable of
attending online classes, which is why I need to think about it. Furthermore, there are
numerous disruptions during online classes, such as power outages and students having
connection issues, which make online classes more difficult than intended.

3. Evaluate the five legal documents that apply to the teaching profession and complete
the table below

We must teach them that

to treat one another with

3. RA 7877 Anti Sexual Anti-sexual harassment As a teacher, I've seen

it's only recently received

something to stop it.
