Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the pupils are able to:
1. Identify the basic sequence of events/stories (EN2LC-IIId-e-2.4).
2. Arranged pictures/ stories according to events.
3. Express the values learned from the story.

English 2 SLM’s, English II LM. Lesson 27, pg. 196-200
Materials: Audio-visual, Pictures of events, glue, pentel pen
Subject Integration: Math, English, Science and Health, and

Direction: The pupils will go to the entrance of the classroom to pick
the elements of the story and in the exit will pick the pictures related
to the story. Let them select their partner relating to the elements and
the story given.

1. Analysis
Sequence means the order or arrangement in which things
happen. Studying the arrangement of events in a correct order
is called sequencing events.
Sequencing a story refers to the ability to determine the first
event, the second event, the third event and so on and so
forth.
It is also the key component in determining reader’s
understanding of a given pictures or stories.

accomplish. After the activity, the students will report their output by group.
