- T will introduce himself first. Then the first student will have to recall T’s
information and introduce him/herself. The second student will have to
repeat the T’s and first student’s information and introduce him/herself. This
process will end with the last student.
Warm-up

- Show Penguins video and ask S about the strange things they have been
observed from that video
- What do you know about April Fool’s Day? Students will have time to work
in pair to find out the answer for that question.

Rule: Divide students into two groups. Show the pictures illustrating those
words above. Students discuss and give the answers. The group has more
correct answer will win the game.

2. While-Reading
 Read the text and play the recording 3.05 Recording 3.05
 Work in pairs and decide which is the funniest April Fool’s trick.
 Introduce Exam Strategy, talk about useful things students should have in
mind when they have to deal with the sentence gap-filling exercise.
 Students do e.x 3 individually in 5 minutes then have 1-2 minutes discuss
with person who next to them. T will give the correct answer after that.
 Students do e.x 4 individually in 5 minutes then have 1-2 minutes discuss
with person who next to them. T will give the correct answer after that.
3. Post-Reading
 Who can act?
Divide class into 2 groups. Students have to close their books and recall
information about the text. Note down as much as possible in 2 minutes
individually. Members in groups will have another 2 minutes to discuss
about the information they have had so far. One member of group A will
come and act out the information. Group A has to answer correctly to get
points. If they cannot guess what it is, the right will give to group B. They
game will end when there is enough information presented. The group has
more correct answer will win the game.

 Still stay in that Group and do e.x 7 in 5 minutes and e.x 8 in 10 minutes.
