RESOLUTION NO. 038, Series of 2018

A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING HON. SHARON ROSE G. ESCOTO,

MUNICIPAL MAYOR OF GUBAT, SORSOGON, FOR SANITARY TOILET BOWL TO
ACCOMPLISH THE ZERO OPEN DEFECATION (ZOD).

WHEREAS, during the regular session of the Sangguniang Barangay, the provision for ten (10)
sanitary toilet bowl to household within the jurisdiction that needs in the completion of
their Comfort Room was proposed by the Chairman of the Committee on Health and
Sanitation, Hon. David F. Espenida;

WHEREAS, the request for toilets bowls for the household within the area attends to the
common need of mankind to avail and to establish good sanitation in their homes
to prevent unnecessary sickness and death;

WHEREAS, the request will decrease the number of household that did not have sanitary
toilet in the convenience of their homes as per indicated in the Barangay Health
Profile;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kgwd. Melchor P. Españ o and duly seconded by Kgwd.
Nelia E. Espaldon, it was:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to request Hon. Sharon Rose G. Escoto, Municipal

Mayor of Gubat, Sorsogon for ten (10) sanitary toilet bowl.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished the Office of the Municipal
Mayor, Hon. Sharon Rose G. Escoto, Municipality of Gubat, Province of Sorsogon for
appropriate and favorable action.
