A total of 1,413 Junior High School students took the English Fourth Grading Examination in Silanga National
High School. The total no of learners per grade level are as follows; G-7= 420 students, for Grade 8= 375, Grade 9, 347
learners and 271 students coming from Grade 10. The outcome manifested the following interpretation of the learners: 4%
in the beginning level, 15% are categorized in the developing level, in the nearing mastery there are about 59% and 22%
of students belonged to mastery level.
The result gathered, aided us to make appropriate measures and decisions that will greatly help in the performance
of our students.
