Open Circuit

VHP Extender Series Remedy Check for +5V at Sensor


#6 Connector
Remedy #1
Check for Loose Connection
Between ECU and Sensor
1. Reconnect harness to ECU and sensor.
2. Reconnect power to PDB.
Remedy #2 3. Check for 5 volts between +5V and ground of
Inspect Sensor and Connectors sensor connector.
for Damage 4. Shut off power to PDB.

Remedy #3
Check Continuity Between ECU
and Sensor

Remedy #4
Check Continuity Between ECU
and Interconnect
Sensor Connector
Remedy #5
Pin Function Circuit #
Check Continuity Between
Interconnect and Sensor
A +5 V 1477
Remedy #6 B Ground 1151
Check for +5V at Sensor
Connector C Signal 1478

If voltage check is OK, replace


sensor. If the fault is no longer
active, continue to clear fault
code. If the fault is still active,
contact your local

technical support.

all other sensor faults that
exist. If fault is corrected
through troubleshooting
another existing fault, continue
to clear fault code. If all other
NOT OK faults have been remedied,
and fault is still not corrected,
