Name Birthdays
Riya 15th August 1990
Piya 23rd September 1991
Kiya 1st November 1991
Diya 31st July 1990
a) Find the difference between the birthdays of Riya and Piya?
b) Whose birthday comes at the end of the year?
c) How older is Diya to Riya?
Answer:
a) Birthday of Riya is 15th August 1990 and the birthday of Piya is
23rd September 1991.
So, the days from 15th August 1990 to 15th august 1991 is 365 days.
Again, days from 15th August 1991 to 23rd September 1991 is
16 + 23 = 39 days.
Hence, the difference between the birthdays of Riya and Piya is 365 +
39 = 404 days.

b) Piya’s birthday comes at the end of the year.

c) Diya’s birthday is 31st July 1990 and Riya’s birthday is 15th

August 1990.
So, the difference in their age is

Hence, the age difference between Piya and Diya is 16 days.
