God is Everywhere:
“God hides in two ways: One way, is that God hides so that it is very difficult to find him, and yet,
he who knows that God is hiding from him can advance toward him and find him. The other way is
that God hides from a man the fact that He is hiding and since the seeker knows so little about God, he
cannot find him. It is this that is referred to in the words, “I shall hide, hide.” (Devarim 31:18) God

Final thoughts:
Kabbalah: Theosophy and theurgy => cosmic, Divine focused – repair God. Self denial,
symbolic, mythic.
Hasidut: Prayer, Joy, Engage in this world, Nullification of self to the world, internally
focused, repair self.
Carl Jung: Eightieth Birthday Interview
Taking a reference, I made to affinity between his theories and those of William James, Jung
confirms my remark, saying that he had known James personally. “But do you know who
anticipated my entire psychology in the eighteenth century? The Hassidic Rabbi Baer from
Meseritz, whom they called the Great Maggid. He was a most impressive man.”
