1.General
Shanghai ShenKai Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd has a long history to produce various
kinds of BOP since 1974. It is a professional oil equipment and tools company which has
development and strong manufacturing capabilities ; Product quality inspection and testing
well-equipped, over the years by Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission as
high-tech enterprises. Production 105Mpa BOP has won key new products in Shanghai and the
title of National Key New Product. At present our company have produced BOP has been
formed to adapt to both land and offshore oil drilling platform needed products.
My company has a complete QHSE management systems, product design, manufacturing,
in line with API Spec 16A "Drilling channel equipment specifications" and GB20174 "oil and
gas drilling and oil drilling equipment, communications equipment," the national standard has
been made in API Spec Q1 and ISO 9001 quality certification and obtained the use of API Spec
16A product logo license.
Example:
“FH35-35/70”shows that the Annular BOP with a spherical packer, the bore is
φ346.1 mm ( 13 5/8″), the rated working pressure is 35MPa (5000Psi), the
rated working pressure of bottom connection flange is 70MPa (10000Psi).
“FHZ54-14” shows that the Annular BOP with a tapered packer, the bore is
φ539.8 mm ( 21 1/4″), the rated working pressure is 14MPa (2000Psi), the
rated working pressure of bottom connection flange is 14MPa (2000Psi).
1.2 Application

Our company has two kinds of packers: spherical and tapered. The bonnet of
spherical packer and shell is joint with flange and wedge. The bonnet of tapered packer and
shell is joint with jaw.〈see table 1、fig 1、fig 2、fig 3 〉

7. Maintenance
7.1 Notice

5. Sealing ring: First inspect it’s lip. The sealing ring should be replaced if there is any
damage, wear or aging.
6.Shell: It should be repaired if the I.D. or O.D. of it’s sealing portion of is worn 0.5mm
more than the limited tolerance. The wear ring should be replaced if it’s O.D. is worn over
original limited tolerance.
7.Packing washer groove: Inspect packing washer groove of flange, any defect that affects
sealing characteristics is not allowed.
