1.1 Organon
§9 In health, the life force keeps all parts of the organism in harmony.
In the healthy human state, the spirit-like life force (autocracy) that enlivens the material organism as dynamis, governs
without restriction and keeps all parts of the organism in admirable, harmonious, vital operation, as regards both feelings
and functions, so that our indwelling, rational spirit can freely avail itself of this living, healthy instrument for the higher
purposes of our existence.
§10 The material organism functions solely by means of the immaterial wesen, the life force.
The material organism, thought of without life force, is capable of no sensibility, no activity, no self-preservation. 10 It
derives all sensibility and produces its life functions solely by means of the immaterial wesen (the life principle, the life
force) that enlivens the material organism in health and in disease.
§11 In disease, the life force is first dynamically mistuned and then manifests its mistunement through symptoms.
When a person falls ill, it is initially only this spirit-like, autonomic life force (life principle), everywhere present in the
organism, that is mistuned through the dynamic 11 influence of a morbific agent inimical to life. Only the life principle,
mistuned to such abnormality, can impart to the organism the adverse sensations and induce in the organism the irregular
functions that we call disease. The life principle is a power-wesen invisible in itself, only discernible by its effects on the
organism. Therefore, its morbid mistunement only makes itself known [discernible] by manifestations of disease in
feelings and functions (the only aspects of the organism accessible to the senses of the observer and the medical-art
practitioner). In other words, the morbid mistunement of the life principle makes itself discernible by disease
symptoms; in no other way can it make itself known.

 23. R. M. T., sexo masculino. Consulta por mal-estar na região do coração, < após um: esforço.
Dores subclaviculares, principalmente do lado esquerdo. Falta de fôlego, periodicamente. Foi
feito um E.C.G. e um cardiologista afirmou que o coração não estava em causa. Lábios violáceos.
Suporta melhor o calor do que o frio. Agrava em aposento fechado. Gosta de álcool e de coisas
doces. Desperta entre 1 e meia e três horas da madrugada com essa sensação de mal-estar,
suores, tremores, medo, palpitações. Susceptível. Muito meticuloso.

4.1 Caso Literatura. – Situação Clínica
Petroleum. Fundamentos da Homeopatia.
xxx 28 anos.
Vem à consulta acompanhado, pois não tem segurança de sair para um lugar mais distante, com
medo de ter crise de diarréia. Ansiedade e diarréia nervosa há 9 meses. Tem tido dificuldade de visitar a
namorada, pois ela mora distante e fica inseguro. Esta preocupação tem lhe perturbado muito. Tem se
preocupado à toa, sem motivo. Fico ansioso em lugares com muita gente. Tímido, não gosta muito de ser
o centro de atenções. Lembra que na infância teve um trauma com a professora que não lhe permitiu sair
da sala de aula para ir ao banheiro e ele defecou nas calças, deixando-o muito envergonhado. Quando
tem algum compromisso, como ter vindo à consulta, por exemplo, fica sofrendo dias antes, ansioso e
inseguro, achando que pode passar mal. Após a prescrição de Petroleum .acordou repentinamente
durante 3 noites seguidas assustado. Ocorreu uma melhora significativa da ansiedade. Teve constipação,
em vez da diarréia habitual. Vem à segunda consulta desacompanhado.

Comentário
O medicamento prescrito foi Petroleum, embora fique difícil decidir, com estes sintomas, entre arg-n.,
gels., lyc.
