I. OBJECTIVE
 To ensure oral health and hygiene of learners
 To keep the health of bones and teeth
 For information dissemination of parents and guardians
II. INTRODUCTION
June 16, 2022. One of the most remembered day in spite of the on-going
restrictions due to covid-19 health protocols. Paringao Elementary School with the
signed permission of the parents and guardians participated in the Dental Fluoride
application activity of LUSDO with Dra. Zenaida A. Joven, our DepEd Dentist.

The activity started with the handwashing of learners from kinder to Grade 3,
after which toothbrushing of teeth followed. Kinder to Grade 3 learners lined
up observing proper protocols.
At first learners were adamant and somewhat afraid for fear that it will hurt
them. But through Dra. Joven and with the help of teachers, explained to them the
benefits of the said program.

III. IMPACT TO THE LEARNERS

 The learners and parents realized the importance of fluoride application to
their teeth.
 Inculcated value to take care of the teeth and oral health.

IV. RECOMMENDATIONS
 Excellent program of the Department of Education benefits the oral health of
learners.
 Due to learner’s groupings brought about by the pandemic, some learners
were not able to come. The school would like to request our dentist to set
another day for them.
