PROJECT TITLE Bayóng: a DIY tote bag

SERVICE COMPONENT Recreation
CWTS SLAB Recreation
PROJECT DURATION 4th Qtr. 2020-2021
PROJECT BENEFICIARIES Pandacan, Manila
PROJECT SUMMARY
This project is to give a chance to unprivileged students who are having a hard time during this
pandemic. Many families lack in financial support and the government does not have all the power or
supply to sustain the education of public students. This project can turn things around since this project
will benefit and help public students to gain hope and motivation to keep on studying through providing
them with reused Do-It-Yourself bag. This bag will help them as they go on to their school carrying their
personal needs without a hassle. It will make them motivate and focus more on learning because they
know that they have everything they need in their bag to study. The bag is made from used clothes with
little amount of bought fabric from the store. The bag is durable enough to carry books, notebooks,
ballpens, and other school supplies needed.

The project aims to:

• To enhance each student’s creativity skills
• To know the importance of recycling
• To provide students a tote bag for their school.
