About the session The session began with discussing a few people's experiences on listing down their daily activities and bifurcating the same as an action or a reaction and how it impacted them, instilled change in their behavior, and compelled them to implement those changes in their lives. Further, we moved on to discussing the personal learning papers submitted by students. Many students volunteered to share their PLPs with the class. The students discussed their PLPs, and Mr. MG Jomon gave constructive feedback on how they could improve their PLPs for the better. What I learned from the session I was surprised and pleased to see the submissions of my classmates. From poems to stories to personal experiences beautifully penned down on pieces of paper were spurting bouts of creativity. As much as I was in awe of what was being discussed right before my eyes, I was slightly intimidated and loathing in self-doubt. All sorts of questions were coming up in my head. I the only one getting it all wrong? How did I land up amidst these exceptionally talented individuals with a knack to communicate what they felt in such an engaging way? However, I did not let all these thoughts take over me. Instead, I tried to figure out how I can learn from them. It made me reflect on what I had written as part of my PLP. As I dwelled on what I could improve, I realized to show an improvement; it is essential to identify what you have learned. I realized it was more important to focus on what you learned from each session, which I couldn’t in its entirety in the previous PLPs. Further, expressing what you have learned in the session requires an individual to be more expressive and transparent with your thoughts. Communication is the key, and to achieve that, one needs to have a robust command of the language so that it does not act as a barrier in communicating one’s ideas enables one to express oneself articulately. To be clear in sharing the story you want to tell through your writing. However, just being able to convey what you learned is not enough. To be able to adapt those learning and implement them in your behavior is the real challenge. Thus I decided on how I can further improve on my ability to express my thoughts and opinions. How I plan to achieve what I learned Basis what I learned in the session, I believe it is essential to be more transparent with your thoughts and ideas. It is necessary to recognize your feelings and opinions and have open communication to be your honest and authentic self. Further, I aim to relate to what I learn with my own life and reflect on my daily behavior. Additionally, it is crucial to have individuality and always be your authentic self and ensure the same images in your attitude and behavior.
