DELIVERY MODE: Activity: (Strategy to be used: Mentimeter Word Cloud)
- All students will be asked to log in to www.menti.com. The passcode will
be flashed on the screen. A poll question will be asked for students to
answer online:
What different media platforms have you used to store, access and
share information?

The result of the poll will be presented and discussed in class.

Analysis: (Strategy used: Brainstorming)


From the discussion, answer the following questions:
 Along with the constant usage of media runs the risk of misinformation
and disinformation. Which among these platforms would you best get
accuracy and credibility of information?
 What other roles do media have aside from sending information and
communicating?

1. Discussion on the different types of media through Powerpoint
presentation.

2. Students will be given statements where they would identify two


true statement and one which is a lie. This will further deepen their
understanding while the discussion pushes through.

After the discussion, the following questions will be asked in class:

 What can we do to control media and its effects rather than have
media control us?
 How can we use media in the best way that could be more
advantageous to people?

Application: (Strategy to be used: OER Gamification using Friendly


Triivia)

The class will be divided into two groups. The two team leaders will
play first round where they will be asked a question and the one with the
higher points of his/ her answer will be the one to play Round 1. Round 2
will be played by another set of member players. The one with the highest
score of answer will play the mentioned round. That goes with round 3 as
well. At the end of Round 3, the group with the highest score wins. In the
event that the group wont be able to give an answer in 5 seconds, they
will have 1 strike. Three strikes means the other group can steal.

(Strategy to be Used: Educandy Multiple Choice Quiz )


ASSESSMENT The assessment will be in a form of a short quiz. The class will be
divided again into 2 groups. Each group will be given set of questions. The
winner will be based on the shortest time the group was able to finish the
quiz with higher score.
