As depicted by table above, 11 (41%) respondents were agreed to encounter challenges

in communicating to others. While 16 (59%) respondents answered “disagree” that they didn’t

encounter any challenges when communicating. This shows that in face-to-face discussion,

students clearly didn’t encounter any challenges or obstacles when communicating to others.

To discover possibility of the challenges, the respondents were asked if they encounter

any problem in communicating during online discussion. The data gathered were both positive

and negative, 19 (70%) indicated ‘agree’, 8 (30%) said ‘disagree’. All these are as presented in

table above.

comprised 22 (81%) answered ‘agree’ and a total of 5 (19%) respondents said ‘disagree’ with

the view that in face-to-face discussion, creating a concept and expanding on it is simpler

The respondents were asked to indicate if they think that during virtual discussion is

easier to create a topic and expanding it. 6 (22%) respondents said ‘agree’ while 21 (78%)

indicated ‘disagree’ This shows that it is easier to formulate a concept or topic during face-to-

face rather doing it during virtual discussion.
