1. What are the three (3) things that you significantly learned from
the reading? Please start by saying.

Before reading the article, I used to think that Gender and human

rights are two different genres that don’t mix. After reading the

article, I now think that human rights are more prevalent within

gender issues. Before I think that gender isn’t a political issue

because I thought it mostly involves psychology and is more akin

to emotions rather the cold logic that politics is known for. Now, I

think gender is becoming more and more political since many

have pushed the issue toward the government and many

Politicians have acknowledged its severity. Also, I now realize that

gender has become more prevalent during today’s era that it has

reached a point that it could have been more towards human

rights violation rather than a group-minded opinion of one’s

identity.

2. What three (3) things about the reading are unclear to you?

I am unclear as to why Gender and climate change are related?

Because climate change seems like it doesn’t have any relations

towards Gender and more so in the political world. I am also

unclear about the relationship between diseases and gender,

what does medicine have to do with personal identity, I get that

maybe some diseases might cause a neurological change within a

person causing them to think that they are different which maybe

be a related to it, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s a pretty big if

there. And also, I am unclear about the disability relating to

gender, why does even correlate to gender? Does it have to be

the necessary treatment of disabled individually different because

of gender? Or is it the lack thereof any rights given to a disabled

person due to their specified gender than it would be for an

average disabled person?

3. What three (3) questions that you want to ask about the reading?

None, really even though I am not a person of high attention span

and couldn’t read a freaking article without being bored by it and

doing some other stuff, I honestly quite understand the article

and would also be very interested in how our government fixes

these sorts of sensitive issues.
