Invitation for: Workshop on "Research Methodology, Biostatistics & Dissertation Writing" (For Trainee) at
LAHORE

In response to your request for participation in the subject workshop, this is to inform you that your name has been entered
as a participant of the subject workshop with following details:

Date: Jul 13, 2022 to Jul 16, 2022


Time: 09:00 a.m. to 03:30 p.m
Venue: CPSP Regional Center

Please confirm your availability within 3 days after seeking permission from your Head of Unit / Department

You are required to bring a template of your Synopsis for review & necessary advice. Candidates without a draft template will
not be allowed to sit in the Workshop. If the synopsis has already been submitted or even approved, bring a copy with you
for necessary discussion/proof

In case you are unable to attend the subject workshop on the above mentioned dates an immediate intimation is required.
You are therefore advised to CLICK HERE and feed the information about your availability (Yes/No). Please note that link
shall expire after 3 days. Also note that if we do not receive the “Workshop Postponement Form” within 3 days of the
invitation your participation will be considered confirmed. In case workshop unit does not receive a response to the
invitation and the candidate does not turn up for the workshop then he/she shall pay additional Rs 2000/= to become re-
eligible for invitation for the registered workshop. Any last moment regrets or excuses shall not be accepted.

The College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education
(ACCME) to provide Continuing Medical Education for physicians. CPSP designates all workshops for Trainees for a
maximum of 24 AMA PRA category 1 credits. Physicians should claim only the credits commensurate with the extent of the
participation in the activity.

Instructions for CPSP Trainee Workshop
Pre Workshop:
Candidates are required to confirm their availability for the workshop through the link mentioned in the invitation letter within
three days.

All Mandatory Workshops / IT Exemption test Material has been placed at your e-log book. You can retrieve and prepare
yourself for the workshops.

Please update your Email for future correspondence.

Kindly bring this invitation letter at the time of workshop.

Day of Workshop:
Participation in all sessions of the workshop is mandatory.

The candidate are requested to reach before 08:30 am.

Those arriving late after 090:00am are not allowed to attend the workshop

In a case, a candidate misses first day, he/she will not be allowed to attend remaining days of the workshop. Such candidate shall
be required to re-activate the registration status by electronic re-registration and payment of Rs2000/= through UBL bank
challan.

Take care of your valuables yourself. Workshop Unit will not be held responsible for any loss.

Use of Mobile Phone during workshop is strictly prohibited.

Post Workshop:
The certificate participation email of workshop shall be send at your email address within 10 days.

CME certificate shall be issued within 4 months at your e-mail and e-log.

Research Methodology, Biostatistics & Dissertation Writing (Trainee):

Research Workshop Candidates are required to bring a template of their Synopsis for review and necessary advice.

SOPs FOR EXAM & WORKSHOPS:


It is for the information of all concerned that we declare CPSP to be a "CORONA ZERO TOLERANCE INSTITUTION".
The following SOPs are for strict observance by Exam Candidates, Workshops & Course attendees and organizers.

All entries at the gate will be thermally checked and screened.

All have to bring their own new masks and wear them properly. Those not complying will not be allowed to sit in the Exams
or attend academic activities.

All have to bring their own small bottles of Hand Sanitizers and a pair or gloves. Those not complying will not be allowed to
sit in the Exams or attend academic activities.

There should be no collection of candidates in the Corridors. Having finished their exams or workshops, they must leave
immediately.
