Sir/Madam:

Sulig warm greetings!


This is to inform you that the San Antonio Elementary School intent to participate
in the expanded/limited face to face classes. The operation of the reopening of
classes followed the Deped principle on shared responsibility between Department
of Health, LGU/Community, schools and families and other concerned government
agencies based on the DEPED-DOH-JMC-No. 01-s.2021.
The schools are complying the requirements stipulated in the School Safety
Assessment Tool on the conduct of the face-to-face learning modality. Some of its
indicators like operations of schools, school traffic management, protective
measures, hygiene practices, safety procedures and communication strategies need
the support of the barangay such as materials, supplies and services.
In this regard, we would like to appeal our barangay support on the conduct of the
face-to-face learning modality specifically on the following areas:
a. Update school on the recorded confirmed COVID-19 cases and provide
certification on the status of confirmed COVID-19 cases since the school
shall only be approved to conduct face to face learning modality once there
are no recorded COVID-19 cases for the past 28 days.
b. Provide the school with resolution signifying the support to the intention of
the school to conduct face to face learning modality. Support may be
provision of materials, supplies and services as specified below. To wit;

1. Provision of health essentials such as face masks/face shields.


2. Provision of disinfectant materials such as but not limited to alcohol
and chlorine.
3. Provision of hygiene kits like soap and/or handwash
4. Provision of trash bins and conduct of regular garbage collection
schedule and proper disposal specially identified as yellow garbage
like used face masks.
5. Conduct of regular monitoring of schools in the observance of health
protocols through the personnel assigned by the barangay.
6. Provision of immediate response by allowing the barangay vehicle to
ferry learners who manifest flu-like symptoms.
7. Provision of medicines that could boost health such as but not limited
to vitamin C.
8. Cooperation of the barangay health workers in giving health related
assistance like in deworming, taking height and weight.
9. Conduct/participate in school’s disinfection
10. Coordinate with the local water provider as to the potability of water.
11. Provision of plastic storage box (preferably 120L) for the disinfection
of learners’ outputs.
12. Other provisions or support not mentioned above but are related to
the conduct of face-to-face learning modality.
