DAGSAAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (DAGES) BHERT HOME-SCHOOL’S

HEALTH PROTOCOL EMERGENCY PLAN S.Y.2021-2022

In partnership with Barangay Local Government Unit / Barangay Dagsaan Health

Emergency Response Team, the school plans to initiate and formulate an agreement
based on DepEd Memo. Order No.015, s.2020 in the strict observance and
compliance of health protocol responsive to the COVID -19 Health Protocols in the
conduct of the forthcoming Limited Face-to- Face Classes.

The following are the suggested agreement and emergency plans:

1. Prior to the school opening, the faculty and staff of Dagsaan Elementary
School are checked if they are fully vaccinated. Teachers and learners should
present vaccination card and have their temperature checked upon entry.

2. Health protocols should be observed upon entering, handwashing, attending

classes and exiting the school premises. The following are expected to be
observed:

a. wearing of proper face mask and face shield all the time when
travelling from home to school and vice – versa, removing when
attending classes;

b. observing a minimum of one-meter physical distancing from the

entrance gate to the washing area, to the classroom, while having
classes and exiting to the exit gate during dismissal by following the
arrows found in most areas of the school;

c. following hand washing procedure during the required time for

handwashing:(a) upon entering (at the entrance gate), (b)in between
two class dismissal (in the absence of recess), and (c) after using
the comfort room (d)before going home (at the exit gate).
d. sanitizing alcohol after touching things or surfaces. Learners are
advised to bring personal hygiene kit which includes alcohol/sanitizer,
hand towels, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.).
3. When using different modes of transportation, compliance and observance of
the following should be followed:

a. Speaking loudly and talking to others are not allowed except if it is

necessary;
b. Maintaining a minimum of one-meter physical distance should be
observed at all times;
c. Wearing protective gears such as but not limited to helmet, pads,
and reflector when riding on a bicycle or scooter is highly
recommended. If a learner is driving his/her personal vehicle, having
a driver’s license is a must.
3. Parents/guardians are not allowed to visit classes during class hours except
for valid reason and emergency cases, thus parents or family members will
wait in the waiting area at the exit gate by following the rules on pick-up and
compliance of health protocol.

4. Students are prohibited to go anywhere aside from going to school and going
home only. Classes are held in the morning. In the afternoon classes will be
on printed modular modality. Relative to this, the assigned Barangay Police
(Barangay Tanod) is responsible to make necessary disciplinary actions upon
students who violate the rules on this agreement.

5. In the absence of gathering in the ancillary services centers such as school

library and school canteen except the isolation room and clinic, all teachers
and learners should provide and bring their own food, thus they are not
allowed to go out of the school premises except for emergency cases.

6. In cases that the teacher or learner has been found out to have symptoms of
COVID 19, he/she will be immediately picked up by his/her parents or
identified family members to be sent home upon the request of the gate in-
charge with the recommendation of the school nurse and the school principal.
In case sickness occurs during class hours a learner will be sent to the
isolation room with the request of the subject teacher /adviser with
recommendation of the school nurse.

7. Upon the request of the school, in agreement with the Barangay Council, the
assigned Barangay Health Worker (BHW) and the Barangay Police, together

with the School Guard will assist to control the crowd in the observance of
health protocol at the entrance and exit gate during school hours only.

8. Upon the agreement of Dagsaan Elementary School and BLGU/BHERT there

shall be representative to attend meetings/sessions in the Barangay or in the
school for any obstacles or problems that may occur while the limited face to
face classes are going on.

9. All confidentialities on the status of the outcome of implementing the limited

Fac-to- face classes shall be addressed and resolved properly without
prejudice and advance conclusive judgement.

10. Any changes stated on this agreement will be strictly adhered in accordance
to the rules of Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging
Infectious Diseases of the Philippines.
