If you make the same mistakes

I will love you either way

All I know is that I can't live without you
L'Amour qu’a un parent envers son enfant est l’une des choses les plus belles qui soient
Will you call me to tell me you're alright?
'Cause I worry about you the whole night
Don't repeat my mistakes, I won't sleep 'til you're safe inside
In his song “Safe Inside”, James Arthur highlights a logical sequence of events that everyone
experiences in their life, “All we know is the sun will rise/” (line 18). No one is spared from the
many challenges that life throws at an individual's path throughout his or her lifetime. But
always keeping in mind that better days are ahead is a major source of motivation and hope for
everyone in tough times. For just as after the rain comes the sunshine or the days follow the
night, so also happy days will always replace sad ones.

In the song “Safe Inside” by James Arthur, he expresses his conviction on the importance of
letting everyone make their own choices: “Everyone has to find their own way/” (line 15). Many
parents find it difficult to let their children fly on their own; they always want to make the
decisions for them. But they must remember that becoming an adult is above all being able to
make one’s own choices and assume them. This does not mean that parents do not have the right
to intervene; on the contrary, as more experienced adults their wise advice will be of significant
help to them in their discovery of this new and unfamiliar life. Knowing how to let these young
adults make their own choices based on their knowledge and the various advice they will have
received and accepting them is proof of love, trust, and respect toward them.
