PROBLEMS/ISSUES/CHALLENGES:

* Identification and installation of science exhibits that shall complement DepEd

Naga’s programs to improve students’ performance in Science subject

* Encourage and inspire incoming college students to enroll in science and

engineering courses
PROPOSED SOLUTIONS:
* Identification and installation of science exhibits that shall complement DepEd Naga’s
programs to improve students’ performance in Science subject
1) Promote and strengthen science-oriented culture of the Bicolanos by means of
effective partnerships with the DOST V, DepEd Region V, and LGUs of the Bicol Region
in the implementation of interactive and virtual science exhibits.
2) Support DOST V in the conduct of activities like Push 4 Science Campaign and DOST
nuLab Vehicle and other science related activities.

* Encourage and inspire incoming college students to enroll in science and engineering
courses
1) Make BSTC a conducive place for interactive science exhibits.
2) Make BSTC a place for Nagueño students where they will appreciate more science
and engineering courses and raise their awareness of the need to protect Mother
Earth.
3) Help DOST successfully implement the BSTC Virtual Showcase Plan and the Push 4
Science Campaign.
