NOTES ON ASSESSMENT
This vessel is curently in service. The ApplusRTD Inspection Team have presented an API 510/manual UT report (Aug 2017) that indicates no significant
change of wall thickness since 2012.
The minimum recorded WT from the SAMPLE scanning was 36.9mm in Grid E24. Previous vessel scan in 2012 did not itemise this individual scan thicknesses,
but the min recorded WT did not exceed the CA. THIS VESSEL WAS NOT COATED IN 2012.
• Design of vessel is 650.0PSI
• Required shell wall thickness for 650.0 PSI is 32.37mm including static head; Nominal wall thickness is 36.51mm.
• PSV's are set at 584 PSI which means the bottom of the vessel shall see a pressure of 587.79 PSI, requiring a wall thickness of 29.06mm, giving Rem Life of
3.92 years.
•This vessel is deemed suitable for current operating window design parameters, although the NID is based upon current PSV settings.
ASSUMIMG A 2.0MM CORROSION RATE, THIS VESSEL SCANNING DATE SHALL BE ADJUSTED TO 2 YRS 0 MTHS FROM THE ARTD SAMPLE UT DATE - NID 19
AUGUST 2019.
