RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE DISASTER RESPONSE OPERATION PROCEDURE

(DROP) AND THE CONCURENCE OF THE BARANGAY GRANT ALLOCATION FROM
THE KALAHI-CIDSS-NATIONAL COMMUNITY DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

WHEREAS, the KALAHI-CIDSS National Community Driven Development Program

(KC-NCDDP AF) is one of the poverty alleviation programs of the Philippine government
being implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD);

WHEREAS, by virtue of Proclamation No. 922, declaring a State of Public Health

Emergency in the entire country, the KC-NCDDP-AF shifted its program implementation to
Disaster Response Operations Procedure (DROP) to be more responsive to the current
COVID-19 pandemic;
 WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council
(BDRRMC) agreed to conform with the Community-Driven Development Support to COVID-
19 Disaster Response, and wholeheartedly accepts the allocated grant fund for the
implementation of a COVID-response sub-project amounting to Php 501,501.55;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of RICARDO D. EMATA duly seconded by the

BDRRMC members present, be it RESOLVED, as it is HEREBY RESOLVED, to adopt the
DISASTER RESPONSE OPERATION PROCEDURE (DROP) and concur the barangay
grant allocation from the KALAHI-CIDSS-NATIONAL COMMUNITY DRIVEN
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the grant funds will be used in accordance with set
financial policies and standards of the program, and the processes are compliant to the
Disaster Response Operation Manual of the KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP-AF;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Municipal

Local Government Unit through the KC NCDDP-AF Office, the Department of Social Welfare
and Development and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for
their information and reference.
