SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF SIMPATUYO, STA. TERESITA,
CAGAYAN, HELD ON JANUARY 16,2021 AT BARANGAY HALL,
SIMPATUYO, STA. TERESITA, CAGAYAN.

ALL PRESENT

BDC Resolution No. 05 Series of 2021

“A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER
AND PUBLIC SAFETY (BPOPS) PLAN OF BPOC, BARANGAY
SIMPATUYO”

Whereas, Hon. Severino T. Tacas Jr., presented the BPOPs-Plan for FY 2021-
2023 of Barangay Simpatuyo, Sta. Teresita, Cagayan;

Whereas, Barangay Peace and Order Safety Plan (BPOPS) is a three-year term-
based plan which shall be incorporated in the Comprehensive Development Plan
(CDP) of the Local Government Unit (LGU). It is formulated and approved by the
Peace and Order Council to improve life in the communities by ensuring social
protection and safety;

Whereas, the following guidelines for the preparation of Barangay Peace and
Order and Public Safety Plan (BPOPS) are issued, in accordance to DILG
Memorandum Circular 2017-142, dated October, 2017, which further strengthens
the Barangay Peace and Order Councils (BPOC) in tackling peace, order and
public safety plan embracing priorities of action and program thrusts for
implementation by the Local Philippine National stations;

Whereas, the Simpatuyo Peace and Order Council aimed to enhance the
capabilities of the law enforcers by implementing programs and activities that will
develop their skills, promote innovative solutions by using modern technologies
and encourage peoples participation in building a safe and drug free barangay;

NOW THEREFORE, on a mass motion of all the Sangguniang Barangay

Members of Simpatuyo, and duly seconded by the same,

BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Barangay

Members in session assembled that a resolution adopting the BPOPS Plan of
BPOC Barangay Simpatuyo.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be forwarded to all

concerned for their information and consideration.
