GAG ORDER LIMITING EXTRAJUDICIAL COMMENTS

THIS MATTER, having come before the Court sua sponte, stemming from issues

concerning Facebook, which were brought to the Court's attention at the adjournment OF

yesterday's court proceedings, and hearing no objections on the record from the Defendant nor

the State to impose this Order, the Court now finds and orders as follows:

That since the indictment of this Defendant, this case has generated extensive local social

media publicity. Such publicity may possibly continue during the course of trial and post-trial

motions.

That there is a reasonable likelihood that extrajudicial commentary by parties and/or trial

participants ofthese proceedings, including but not limited to court staff, jurors, attorneys,

attorneys' staff and/or representatives, parties, witnesses, and family members of the parties, will

undermine any future court proceedings, including but not excluding, post-trial proceedings.

Therefore, to protect the Defendant's rights, the integrity ofthe criminal judicial system,

and the rights of jurors and witnesses to be free from harassment, no named party of these

proceedings and/or trial participants of these proceedings; or family members of the parties to

these proceedings, shall post or give any comments, opinions, etc. on any social media or news

media platforms, nor shall any party and/or trial participant of these proceedings or family

members of the parties of these proceedings, comment or discuss the case with any news media I"

That to protect the integrity of the criminal justice system, including the right to a fair

trial, which is the highest right of a Defendant, according to the United States Supreme Court in

Press-Enterprise Co. v Superior Court, 464 U.S. 50 I, 508 ( 1984), the following organizations,

social media pages and their affiliated platforms shall immediately cease and desist until the

conclusion of this trial:

That the following persons shall not publicly comment, update, post, communicate, contact,

speak, talk, discuss, explain, and/or interview with any person, group, organization, and/or

news source or social media outlet of any kind (television, radio, internet, social media, etc.)

until the conclusion of this trial:

All court personnel;

All former attorneys and current attorneys of record in this case and their
staff, employees, and/or representatives; and
All witnesses and potential witnesses.

That any violation of this Order shall be reported to law enforcement, the District

Attorney of the Seventh (7th) Circuit, and/or the Special Judge appointed by the Mississippi

Supreme Court who will preside over the contempt hearing for possible contempt and/or

prosecution, which may result in fines and incarceration.

This limited Order is made to ensure justice is served. Measures less restrictive than this

Order would not be expected to achieve that result.

THEREORE, IT IS ORDRED AND ADJUDGED, that trial participants of these

proceedings, including but not limited to court staff, jurors, attorneys, attorneys' staff

and/or representative, parties and witnesses, and family members of the parties to these

proceedings, shall not post comments, opinions, etc. about this case on any social media

or news media platforms.

IT IS ALSO ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, that trial participants of these

proceedings, including but not limited to court staff, jurors, attorneys, attorneys' staff

and/or representative, parties and witnesses, and family members of the parties to these

proceedings shall not discuss or give comments about this case to any news media outlet.

IT IS ALSO ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, that this Order be effective immediately

and shall remain in force during the pendency of all post-trial motions or until further order of

this Court. Any violation of this Order may result in contempt of court and/or penalties and/or

fines and/or jail time.

SO ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, this the 2nd day of August, 2022.

#istandwithfox First off I want to pay my respects and give
my Condolences to Mr. George Robinson and his Family.
Which is the individual my Brother Anthony Fox is on Trial
for on a 2nd Degree Murder Charge which he had nothing
to do with! !..even all week during my brothers
Trial..evidence and witnesses has proven my brother had
nothing to do with him dying or his Murder!! My brother
has been on Trial all week and I been right by his side each
and everyday supporting him .. and keeping him uplifted
bcuz it's soo hurtful and stressing to see your best friend
of 30years and your Brother being accused of something
he didn't do!! But I just want to tell those who don't know
my Brother. He wouldn't harm a fly!!..and damn sho
wouldn't harm no old person!! But what many dnt
know.. outside of being a Police .. a Detective .. a Swat Team
Member or an Narcotics Detective .. my Brother is a little
league Football Coach(f and have helped our
YouthFootball team reach dreams over the years .. and
helped our kids win plenty of championshiP!'!'T .. my
Brother Anthony Fox is a Coach .. a Man of GOD .. a
Husband .. a Father.. a Brother.. a Uncle .. a Son .. a Best
friend .. and 1 of the most LOYAL menu will ever meet or
run across in your life!!..so if u support my brother Anthony
