Autobiography
My name is Dominic V. Silvestre. I was born on December 06, 2001, in San Fernando
Pampanga. My parents are Sally Silvestre and Ryan Silvestre, I am the youngest of our
three siblings. We all currently live in Tres Cruses Tanza Cavite. My hobby is
exercising, watching Youtube and Twitch videos, playing video games, and reading.
I took my elementary education at Tres Cruses Elementary School where I achieved
many rewards such as being one of the top students in many subjects which
unfortunately stroked my ego making me an arrogant, annoying, and smug kid at that
time. In seventh to tenth grade, I attended Saint Mary’s of the Woods Academy where I
met what I can only call as first true friends. This was probably the happiest period of
my life, during those years I discovered and learned a lot of things not just academically
but also about the people around me. I learned how to properly associate with my
peers, how to make friends, and how to empathize with other people, collectively
making me a better person. At senior high school, I studied at Holy Nazarene Christian
School where I met more and more people who became a big part of my life, I
encountered a lot of good friends and competitive teachers that taught me some of the
wisest lessons I can learn in life, and this is where I also starting to get a bit more
matured, where I realized that life is not always about fun, this is where I noticed all of
the sacrifices that my parents make just to give me proper education, and that not
everything is easy and life can be a bit unfair, and that I also have responsibility to do as
a student and as a son.
Now, I am currently attending at Cavite State University Indang, where I study as a
Criminology student. To be honest, I did not expect that I am one of the lucky few that
the University had chosen among thousands upon thousands of people who want to
study in CvSU. Frankly speaking, the first few weeks are very hard, because I am totally
unprepared and did not expect the whole new college life especially because of the
Covid pandemic and the frustrating online class, till now I am still not fully adjusted and I
even considered dropping out, but hey, nevertheless I am still continuously progressing
and marching very strong, I am even one of the top students, well at least in our class.
Life is hard, yes, I already knew that since I was in junior high school, but college just
solidify and prove that statement more to be true, but I also know that with
determination I believe that I can overcome this, I believe that I can become a
policeman like I always wanted to be, and I also believe I can make people around me
proud of me.
