My name is Rohanisah M. Acmad. I am an accredited competency assessor for Bookkeeping NCIII. I would like to
acknowledge the presence of Mr. Dennis Herondias one of the members our TESDA Training Center and Ms. Jean
Perez our representative from TESDA Provincial Office. You do not have to worry about their presence. They are here
to oversee the conduct of competency assessment and to check if the conduct is in accordance with the prescribed
competency assessment methodology and procedures. They will not assess you.
Before I start, let me first check the attendance. Please present to me your admission slip once your name is called

I have here with me your accomplished self-assessment guide. This is an indication that you know and can perform
all the units of competency for this qualification.

Today, I am going to administer competency assessment for Bookkeeping NC III. The purpose of this competency
assessment is to determine your level of competency for Bookkeeping NC III. In Bookkeeping NCIII it is composed of
3 competencies (basic, common and core competencies). For Core Competencies, we have 1. Journalize transactions
2. Post transactions 3. Prepare trial balance 4. Prepare financial reports and 5. Review internal control system.

The different tasks we need to perform today are the following: analyze documents, prepare journal entry, prepare
ledger, prepare trial balance, prepare worksheets, prepare post-trial balance and prepare financial report. We will
connect evidences through written exam and oral questioning these assessment methods will help me ensure your
underpinning knowledge and skills on Bookkeeping.

For your personal need, the Comfort Room is located at the back of this room. However, during the assessment you
are no longer allow to leave the premises of this assessment area. If you have any question or difficulty in
understanding the given instruction, please don’t hesitate to ask me because I am willing to assess you. Also,
anybody here who has physical difficulties or hypertension please tell me so that I can assess you.

If you have clarifications, please raise your hand so that I can answer, once the assessment has already started,
please refrain from asking question because it is no longer allow. In addition to that, cellphones are not allowed in
the assessment area so please turn off your phones and put on your bag.

After the assessment and you have found to be competent for the issuance of National Certificate you can claim your
National Certificate 5working days after the assessment and you can process it for 1day just bring 50 pesos for
processing fee and 1 picture passport size white background with collar. However, if you have found to be not yet
competent don’t worry about it because you can re-assess anytime at your convenience. In case of full qualification,
you need to undergo the whole assessment process again, however if you have found competent in some areas in the
qualification you have to be re-assess to the areas you have found to be not yet competent and if you have 2
consecutives assessment you will be advised to get refresher course before you can apply for re-assessment.

In case that you are not satisfy with the result you can file for an appeal. You can send your letter to TESDA
Provincial Office address to our Provincial Director.

With regards to the result of your assessment we observe strict confidentiality this is to ensure your integrity. The
result will be made available to the authorize personal only and to the institution where you had your actual
training.

May I ask all the candidates to please refrain for giving any information to the outside regarding the process of the
assessment.

working days after the assessment to the TESDA Provincial Office just bring your Result Summary, 1 picture
passport size white background with collar and 50pesos for processing fee.

you are not yet competent but don’t worry you can be re-assess anytime at your convenience and please sign the
