 ABSTRAK

Jihadiah Ramadani Kader 2021. The Prinsip-Prinsip kesopanan dalam film

Tinkerbel and the great fairy rescue. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa
Inggris, Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Seni, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu
Pendidikan Universitas Khairun. Pembimbing (I) Naniek Jusnita. S.Pd., M.Pd A dan

Penelitian yang berjudul “prinsip-prinsip kesantunan dalam film Tinker bell and
the fairy rescue”: penilitian ini berfokus pada maksim yang ada dalam yang
berkaitan dengan prinsip kesantunan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini
adalah: Apa Prinsip Kesopanan yang digunakan dalam film dan fungsi dari
Prinsip Kesopanan yang digunakan oleh pemeran dalam film tersebut. Tujuan dari
penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan, menganalisis
fungsi dan jenis kesantunan dalam maksim yang digunakan dan dapat ditampilkan
dalam percakapan film animasi. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penulis
berkonsentrasi pada ujaran-ujaran yang mengandung prinsip kesantunan yang
dihasilkan oleh semua pemeran dalam film tersebut. Data yang terkumpul
dianalisis berdasarkan teori Leech. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat
enam jenis maksim dalam tuturan tokoh, yaitu: maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim
kedermawanan, maksim pujian, maksim kerendahan hati, maksim persetujuan,
dan maksim simpati. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa dan
pembaca lainnya dalam mempelajari cara menganalisis, khususnya tentang
maksim dalam prinsip kesantunan.

The research entitled "Principles of politeness in the film Tinker Bell and the
Fairy Rescue": this research focuses on maxims that are related to the principle of
politeness. The formulation of the problem in this research is: What is the
politeness principle used in the film and the function of the politeness principle
used by the actor in the film. The purpose of this study is to identify, classify,
analyze the functions and types of politeness in the maxims used and can be
displayed in animated film conversations. In collecting data, the writer
concentrates on the utterances that contain the principle of politeness produced by
all the actors in the film. The collected data were analyzed based on Leech's
theory. The results showed that there were six types of maxims in the character's
speech, namely: the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of
praise, the maxim of humility, the maxim of approval, and the maxim of
sympathy. This research is expected to help students and other readers in learning
how to analyze, especially about maxims in the principle of politeness
