TANGKUBAN PARAHU AWARD 2022

a. Purpose and Objectives :

1. Commemoration of 77th anniversary of the proclamation for

Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on 17th August 2022.
2. Improve the abilities, skills and self-training of ORARI members in the
field of radio communication.
3. Forge a family spirit, strengthen the brotherhood and uphold the
sportsmanship of fellow radio amateurs.

b. Event name and form:

1. Activity name: "TANGKUBAN PARAHU AWARD 2022".

2. The form of activity is to organize Special Event Station activities:

c. Participants
1. The participants of this event are for all radio amateurs all around the world.
2. YH1AA Club Station of ORARI West Java Region.
3. 25 Club Stations of ORARI Locals in West Java area.

d. Band and Mode :

1. HF Band : 80 - 40 – 15 meter band

2. Mode CW, SSB and FT8

e. Point Score :

1. CW = 5 points
2. SSB = 3 points
3. FT8 = 1 point

f. Time of Event :

1. Start 17th August 2022 00.00 UTC – End 19th August 2022 23.59 UTC.

h. Exchange Report :

1. Callsign and RST.

i. Terms :

1. Participants must adhere to a good and correct communication

procedures, speak politely and be patient if the operator has not heard.
2. Participants must state the full callsign at the time of check-in at each
roll call/calling session by the operator on duty, as well as provide an
opportunity for other stations to make calls.
j. Scoring :

- Participants required to make QSO with YH1AA, and additionally 17

QSO with minimum 8 of Club Stations from ORARI Local in West Java
area.
- Participants collect as much as QSO and point with YH1AA and 25 Local
Club Station in West Java area (YH1AB up to YH1BB)
- Duplication QSO is not counted.

Platinum Award
Indonesia Stations: Minimum. 77 points
DX Station – Minimum 45 points

Gold Award
Indonesia Stations: Minimum 45 points
DX Station – Minimum 25 points

- Top 3 rank of Platinum Award will be rewarded for special Plaque of

Tangkuban Parahu Award 2022
- All participants who qualified for any award, can download e-Certificate
at official website : https://orarijabar.or.id
- All participants who make QSO with YH1AA can as well download
e-QSL at official website : : https://orarijabar.or.id
- Operators from Local Club Station will get Organization Reward
Certificate.
- Top 3 rank of Local Club Stations in West Java area who get highest
POINT, will be rewarded by Reward Plaque from ORARI West Java.
