Attached you will find the necessary information in regards to this class.
Feel free to ask questions for further clarification. Please note that the teacher
has the right to amend the schedule and sequence of lessons as needed. To see

Textbook Information:

Supplies Needed:
● Paper
● Pencils
● Spiral Notebook (for notes)
● 1-inch 3-Ring Binder (with clear covering)
● Calculator (one will be provided)
● Textbook (one will be provided)

Grades:
● Please note that this is a county wide grading scale that cannot be
changed.

● Grades for this class will be broken down into 2 categories that carry the
following weights.

Homework:
● Assignments should be turned in on time and fully completed.
● I will follow the school’s policy on late work (see handbook for further
clarification).

Cell Phones:
● Cell phone usage inside the classroom is strictly prohibited.
● Students will be reprimanded for use of cell phones during class.
● I will follow the school’s policy on cell phone usage (see handbook for
further clarification)

Tardies:
● I will be keeping up with the amount of times you are late to class.
Punctuality is a skill you must learn to be successful in life. Points could be
taken from your final grade for a six weeks based on the number of tardies
you have received for that grading period
○ 5 tardies = loss of 2 points
○ 7 tardies = loss of 3 points
○ 10+ tardies = loss of 5 points

Technology:
● Usage of technology in the classroom is a privilege. This can be a tool that
is utilized for the success or detriment of a students’ learning. Abuse of the
technology could result in loss of technology inside the classroom. Abuse
of technology includes, but is not limited to:
○ Games
○ Inappropriate websites
○ Cheating
○ Chatting (when not advised)
○ Browsing
