CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION
Project Context
The cutting edge innovation has brought a gigantic effect to
individuals of the globe. It’s been taking put since the starting
of the human history. The innovative headway has changed impact
on us totally different era and make a life entirely part way
better than some time recently. Portable phones, computers and
other contraptions got to be the major progression in innovation
it makes a difference is address the world’s developing request
and needs.
According to (Davis, 1986) as a theoretical grounding to
study adoption of using the Web environment for ordering food. In
addition to TAM; Trust, Innovative and External Influences are
added to the model as main factors that influence internet user’s
attitudes. The research universe is composed of undergraduate and
graduate students. Studying a homogeneous group allows us to
overcome potential side effects of studying a heterogeneous group
with diverse internet usage habits.
In a modern generation Online food ordering is mobility of
food delivery or takeout from a local restaurant of food
cooperative. Nowadays the rapid growth in use of internet and the
technologies associated with it, the several opportunities are
coming up on the web or mobile application. This made possible
through the use of electronic payment system. The payment can be
done through the online mode of payments. It is possible for
everyone to order any goods from anywhere the internet have the
goods delivered at his/her home. The system will become important
tools use for restaurant to improve management aspects, many
restaurant have chosen to focus on quick preparation and speedy
delivery of orders rather than offering a rich dining experience.
In addition, it can also provide efficiency for the restaurant by
reducing time consuming, minimize human errors or delivery and
providing good quality and service to customers. In terms of the
integrity and availability of the system provided, it can be
concluded that this system is a suitable solution.
What were propose is an online food delivery and ordering
system a web-based application which will help restaurant to
optimized and control over their restaurant. The manager will
able to control the restaurant by having all reports to hand and
able to see the records of each orders. This application helps
the restaurant to do all functionality more accurately and faster
way. Food ordering system reduces manual works and improve
efficiency of restaurant. This allows restaurant employees to
quickly go through the orders as they place and produced the
necessary items with minimal delay and confusion.

Objectives of the Study

The main objectives of the study is to design and develop a
website entitled, “WALANG KA-PARES Online Food Delivery and
Ordering System with Sentiment Analysis”.

Specific Objectives

Specifically, it aims to:

 Provide online menu data to client/customers.
 Increment efficiency through point by point detailing.
 Oversee the subtle elements of thing category, food,
conveyance address and arrange.
 Sentiment Analysis
 Create an online ordering, delivery and reservation system
in the restaurant.
Evaluate the performance and efficiency of the developed system
according to; ISO 25010
a) Functional Suitability
b) Reliability
c) Performance Efficiency
d) Usability
e) Security
f) Compatibility
g) Maintainability
h) Portability
Significance of the Study
E-commerce is a type of marketing that occurs over the
internet. The importance of the study would justify the need for
it to be a carried out. It defines the parameters those who will
benefit from the research.

Customers.
This technology will enable clients to receive effective
and efficient service by purchasing goods and services online.
Customers will be energized by the fact that they are purchasing
through a cutting-age approach of excellent service.
Owner.
This technology will assist the owner in providing
successful online services. They can alter, save, delete, update
files and check reports more easily. It also makes it simple for
them to prepare and evaluate the customer.
Researchers.
By studying the difficulties and solution of the project,
the researchers will be able to obtain more knowledge and
understanding of how a system functions automatically.
Future Researchers.
This study may also be useful in the future if they plan to
perform a similar endeavour, researchers can help by sharing
information for their study. It also assists then in recognizing
that this project will most likely be employed and ready at all
times. They also learn about this recent project in order to
demonstrate that other goal.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

The WALANG KA-PARES Online Food Delivery and Ordering System
with Sentiment Analysis, the study covers online ordering,
delivery and reservation, where they can order foods and make
reservations without having to go to the restaurant, this web
system provides menus based on their recipes for the customer,
there is also a delivery where they will deliver your order based
on your address entered in the customer basic info.
This system has online mode of payment and it also provide a
cash on delivery (COD) based on customer choice. This ordering
system has registration form for new customer and sign in form
for the recent customers, the basic information of the customer
is required so you can sign up and complete your order. This
system has a cart button so you can see your orders and know the
total you will base on your order/s. When it comes to social
media sharing, it also has such function where you can share on
various social media platforms, this system has systematic
analysis that the customer can rate this system based on their
satisfactions. This system provides a customer support page for
the complaints and recommendations of the customers.
The major limitations of the said study, they can only
provide menus based on their recipes not the choice of the
customer this system has a limited number of meals. The menu
changes every few weeks or maybe a month. Due to the long
ordering distance, your food may also be cold once it is finally
delivered to your location. You cannot refund if you have already
consumed your orders and if the customer already receive the
order/s. The preparation factor may be disadvantage to food
ordering system. They are usually easy to prepare, but they
usually take more than an hour to cook depends on the volume of
orders.

INPUT PROCESS OUTPUT

Figure 1. Conceptual Framework of the proposed project

As seen in the provided diagram, the system contained the

necessary requirements needed for it to be approved for continued

planning and to be moved onto the designing phase.

In the Process Phase, each step-by-step system processes are

being build one-by-one. Each improvement and progress are kept

track by the weekly progress reports. If the satisfactory

qualities are met, the proponents move to the output.

In the Input Phase, the proponents gathered all the

necessary information pertaining the software of the proponent’s

choice.

Definition and Terms

1. World Wide Web (WWW) - an information system on the internet

which allows documents to be connected to other documents by

hypertext links, enabling the user to search for information by

moving from one document to another.

2. Technology Acceptance Model(TAM)-  has been one of the most

influential models of technology acceptance, with two primary

factors influencing an individual’s intention to use new

technology.

3. Cash On Delivery (COD) - the system of paying for goods when
