Be Prepared. Bring all supplies daily – be sure to have a charged Chromebook. Head to Google
Classroom to find the agenda for the day.
Be Positive & Polite. Respect all students, teachers, administrators, and other adults present, as well
as the classroom and materials within it. This includes raising your hand to speak and putting away
materials properly.
Be Productive. Participation in class is expected. Follow directions the first time, stay on task, and
ask questions!
Consequences for not meeting expectations:
1. Warning.
2. Teacher-Student conference.
3. Detention/Parent Contact.
4. Disciplinary Referral to the Principal.

Make Up & Late Work

Practice is due at the beginning of class. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what you
missed. There will be a deadline for all late work. If assignments are 1 day late, the most you can make
on it is 70%.
It is your responsibility to complete assignments on days you are absent. You are expected to have the
notes completed for each day you miss. Calendars, assignments, notes and helpful videos can all be
found on : https://msnikzadmath.weebly.com/
Classroom announcements can be found on GC.

Grading policies and Procedures

Daily Grades (10%)
Practice is very important in every math course! In order to enjoy success in mathematics, you must be
willing to work. This includes completion of daily assignments as well as any classroom projects. We will
have assigned work in order to achieve the goal of successful mastery of the content of this class.

Quizzes (30%) & Tests (60%)

There will be several tests and quizzes each quarter. These are to be completed during the class period
of administration (unless your 504/IEP states extra time). Use your time wisely! Expect at least one
form of assessment each week. If you attend two tutoring sessions before the test, you can do test
corrections to earn back half the points you missed.

Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated and will face consequences according to the RHS policy.

I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the above Terms and Conditions above.
