Objective: - Students will acquire a basic knowledge on application and selection of Equipment
used for heavy construction.
Outcome: - At the end of this course, students will be able to properly select foundation
equipment, concreting equipment, compactors and paving equipment. Moreover, students will
understand the management of construction equipment.

 Teaching and Learning Methods: Lectures, Tutorials and Project
 Attendance Requirements: Minimum 80% Attendance
 Assessment/Evaluation: Attendance 5% , quiz 10%, project 20%, Mid exam 15% and
Final Examination 50%
