MINUTES of the XXXth AGM of ASSOCIATION SAIKORIAN-HYDERABAD

CHAPTER held at KRUSHI HOME, GOWDAVELLY VILLAGE, MEDCHAL
DISTRICT on SATURDAY, 30 JULY 2022

The XXXth Annual General Body Meeting of Association Saikorian - Hyderabad

Chapter was held at Krushi Home, Gowdavelly Village, Medchal District on 30th July,
2022 (Saturday).
  
The General Secretary TSR Prasad called the meeting to order at 11.00 AM and
welcomed the members present (48) members were present at the commencement of
the meeting) and the following Office Bearers were called up to occupy their positions
on the Dias:-

The meeting commenced by observing 02 minutes silence in reverence to

SAIKORIANS who departed to the heavenly abode during the year 2021-22.

PRESIDENT's ADDRESS

President highlighted the efforts underway to increase the strength of Krushi children to
120 and informed the members that a prospective donor has come forward to fund the
same. The modalities for the same are being worked out. As part of that effort, a
preliminary meeting was held on 10th Dec 2021 to discuss regarding the probable
proposed new project (s) likely to be taken up by Association Saikorian, Hyderabad
Chapter that were likely to be funded by Dr DSN Raju and his son Mr. Vishwanath Raju.
Another meeting was held on 17 th Dec 21 with Dr DSN Raju and his son Mr. Vishwanath
Raju and Association Saikorian, Hyderabad Chapter Members. Few projects (a)
Offering Skill Development Courses to the youth of the surrounding villages (b)
Establishing a Vocational Training Centre and (c) Enhancing the strength of Krushi
Home Children were

discussed. Yet another meeting was held again on 26 th June 2022 and Association
Saikorian, Hyderabad Chapter Members evinced interest in enhancing the strength of
Krushi Home Children. Accordingly a proposal for this is being prepared that will be
brain stormed with Mr. Viswanath Raju and Dr DSN Raju. We hope to finalise the same
and commence the preparatory work in this financial year. Updates will be shared with
the August General Body in the days ahead, as we progress in this matter.
Coming to performance in Academics, the children have been doing well. This year 5
boys from Krushi wrote the SSC examinations and 4 of them passed by scoring more
than 70% Marks.
Four students studying IT Course at Dayal Bagh College, Bolaram, passed their First
Semester examinations that were held from 24th April 2022 to 30th April 2022.
Presently 18 Government Schools located in surrounding areas of Krushi from Medchal
Dist are being supported by Association Saikorian, Hyderabad Chapter by way of
provision of Infrastructure, Additional Teachers, Provision of Teaching Aids etc. We are
likely to increase this outreach. Requests for the same are being whetted as per laid
down processes prior to approval.
Mr. Krishna Prasad, Owner of Link Well Company formally agreed to support us for
Arise Project, Srirangavaram Girls School that was previously funded by Tech Mahindra
Foundation for 7 years. Ex President, Mr. M Bhaskar Rao has been instrumental in
making this happen. We place on record our deep appreciation for the same.

Science Fair was organized at ZPHS, Gowdavelly on 28 th Feb 2022 (World Science
Day) by Agastya Mobile Science Instructors. Most of the students took part in
demonstrating the exhibits and remaining children from primary and high schools learnt
the concepts. Mr. Surender Mudiraj, Village Sarpanch, gave cash prizes for the top 3
exhibitors, inspired by their enthusiasm.
Krushi boy, Balaraju, who completed a Diploma in Packaging Technology got a
placement at Mold Tech Pvt Ltd with an initial package of Rs 15,000/- per month
inclusive of ESI and PF.

Krushi Boy, K. Sisindra, who completed B Tech got placement in Future Focus Info
Tech Ltd. He has been referred by Mr. Kranthi Kumar (S/o KSV Prasad Roll No. 964)
Director of a Software Company in Philadelphia, USA. Sisindra got selected and joined
the company on 1st November 2021 and is doing well.

Brig Sree Ramulu came forward to support D Nishanth, who completed his diploma in
EEE for his further studies to pursue B Tech at DRS Engineer College. The fee is being
directly sent to the boy’s account.

Mr. M Bangaru Babu, Vice President took initiative for organizing placement drive by
Medha Servo Drives at Krushi Home on 24 th Feb 2022. 19 of our boys took part in the
written test organized by Mr Akhil, HR of Medha Servo Drives. 17 boys attended
interviews that were conducted by Medha on 26 th Feb 2022 and 5 boys from Krushi got
placement to work with Medha.

Krushi boy, D Prem Kumar, presently studying at Chandrayan Gutta, Gurukul School,
excelled in the National Junior Cricket Championship held in Haryana and participated
on behalf of Telangana State. He got selected for under-19 Cricket team for India and
played International Matches held in Nepal in Nov 2021.

Balraju has also been selected by Hi-5 Youth Foundation as a part time Basketball
Coach at Ginnaram, Gurukul School.
Krushi Basket Ball under 14 Team were runners up in the open competition of Pushpan
Academy Tournament held at Secunderabad.

Master Vikram, Master Sriram and Master Laxman took part in the Mandal school level
sports competition on 19th Feb 22 at Medchal. Vikram and Laxman got selected. Master
Sriram got disqualified being under height. Both the boys again participated in the
district level competition at Hakimpet Sports School on 25 th Feb 22 and Master Vikram
got nominated to attend State level competitions and got selected in the final
competitions held on 12th March 2022. He got admission to pursue his education at
Sports School, Karimnagar.

Salesforce Team of Mrs. Bhumika Sharma and others referred by Saikorian Mr. Ali Baig
have agreed to take up the responsibility to conduct training classes for those boys who
are pursuing Diploma in IT.

Mr. Manish CEO of Kakatiya Sand Box visited Krushi on 12 th Jan 2022. Lt Col GK Rao,
President, Mr. M Bangaru Babu, Vice President and members Brig Ramulu and Col
Ravindra were present during his visit and briefed him on the activities of Association
Saikorian. Mr. Bhanu and Mr. Madhu from Kakatiya Sand Box Skill-in-Village Project
visited Krushi on 16th Feb 2022 and visited 14 schools in 2 days by staying at Krushi
and interacted with the concerned Headmasters. Brig Veera Reddy, Mr. P Ramesh, Mr.
KSR Kumar and Mr Ravi visited their Learning Centre at ZPHS Velmal and their Office
at Nizamabad on 13th April 2022. They have interacted with the trainers and cluster
heads and monitored the activities performed by the kids.
30 Krushi boys of 15 years age & above have been vaccinated with 2 doses of
Covishield.

Mallareddy Hospital team has been organizing Medical and Dental camps at regular
intervals at Krushi.
Committee conducted interviews for the post of Care Takers in Krushi Home and Nb
Sub Bhaskar Goud has been selected. He joined Krushi on 18 th April 2022.
For obtaining CCI License Form 27 along with all the necessary documents requested
by CWC have been handed over. Acknowledgement copies of the documents has been
filed.

The balance amount remaining in credit in Axis Bank Account opened for Col Santosh
Babu Motivation Hall has been transferred to ICICI Bank Account opened for Diamond
Jubilee Celebrations Account as suggested by the Diamond Jubilee Steering
Committee.

President informed the members about the settlement of the dispute pertaining to the
plot of land belonging to the Association situated at Alwal. He informed the members
that the settlement amount received from the land occupant (s) has been monetized as
a Fixed Deposit.

The Committee members had gone through the demo website and authorized Mr P
Ramesh to interact with the web provider and to give approval to activate the website.
The website is functional now. However, there are a few corrections and minor changes
to be made and require credentials for uploading events / gallery.

Sri Dharma Rao, Retd Chief Engineer and F/o Late Saikorian M Ramesh Chandra
contributed Rs 1 Lakh towards Waste Water Recycling Plant renovation work. Work is
in progress under his guidance.

Safex Brand Fire and Safety Equipment (Fire Extinguishers) have been installed in
Krushi as recommended by Industrial Fire Services. They have been referred by Lt Col
KS Rao (Retd).

Krushi boys were taken for Excursion to Ocean Park. Mr. Aluri Koti, Saikorian
sponsored this outing and he donated Rs 50,000/- for all the expenses. Mr. Donepudi
Srinivas, Saikorian, Correspondent of Abhaya Woldorf School, Gundla Pochampally
arranged 3 buses for transportation of the children. Boys enjoyed different types of
Water and Adventure Sports.

All India Radio, Rainbow FM live telecast was relayed on 14th October 2021. The
President and Mr. KSR Kumar, Resident Director Krushi participated in the interview
and explained of the activities of Krushi. The Studio DJ interacted with Mr. Hameed, Ex-
Krushi boy during the telecast.

Adoption of the Audited Accounts for the Year as on 31 st March, 2022

The Audited Accounts were circulated to the members. Gen KR Rao (Retd) suggested
that expenses over and above the income to be taken into consideration. He also
suggested to have a provisional budget. Further since there were no queries or
objections, Mr. Jasti Ganesh proposed to adopt the said Audited Accounts and it was
seconded by Lt Col KS Rao (Retd). Accordingly, The Audited Accounts of the Chapter
for the year as on 31st March, 2022 were adopted.

Appointment of Auditors for 2022-23:

It was intimated that M/s T Mohan & Associates have been the Auditors for the
Financial Year 2021-22. The services rendered by M/s Chavali Associates and its
proprietor Sri T Mohan Reddy were appreciated. Further, Mr. M Vijay Bhasker Reddy
proposed to continue M/s T Mohan & Associates as Auditors till the next AGM. The
proposal was seconded by Gp Capt TS Rao (Retd). The members present agreed to
the proposal and M/s T Mohan & Associates were appointed as the Auditors of
Association Saikorian, Hyderabad Chapter for the Financial Year 2022-23.

Election of New Office Bearers

       
The members unanimously proposed that the present committee continue for the
coming year as well and hence it was resolved and adopted that the present committee
continue for the coming year as well as office bearers of the Executive Committee for
the year 2022-23.

Diamond Jubilee Get-Together

Gen Surendranath (Retd) addressed the members present and appraised of the
proposed Get-Together scheduled to be held on 12 th November, 2022 at Sainik School
Korukonda. The members were informed about the events being planned for the said
Get-Together and that a detailed schedule will be intimated well in advance so as to
facilitate the members to plan and attend the said event and make it a grand success.

Brig E Veera Reddy (Retd) submitted the Statement of Accounts pertaining to the
Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.

After conclusion of the agenda of the AGM, The President threw the AGM open for any
other points of discussion.

Gen Surendranath (Retd) emphasized the need to correlate the Academics to

employment and suggested for taking measures in this regard.

Further, the Secretary called for an open discussion and asked for suggestions on the
plan and design for the proposed building coming up for accommodating the enhanced
strength of the Krushi Home. The Chief Architect Mr. Mahidhar submitted his proposal
and the members put forward their views on the same.

Since there were no other points for discussion, the newly elected members were called
up to assume the respective appointments of the Management Committee of
Association SAIKORIAN, Hyderabad Chapter.
 
The new office bearers thanked the General Body for reposing faith in them and
assured of running the Affairs of Association Saikorian, Hyderabad Chapter to the best
of their ability.

VOTE OF THANKS

The Secretary read out the Vote of Thanks for the Committee and all the individuals
who helped in organizing the AGM.
