Please read the Conditions of Secondment in force at INTERPOL including the maximum duration of secondment.

Please be aware that your home Administration/Agency/Service/Government will be responsible for all of your
salary/remuneration, social insurance, pension contributions, welfare benefits, family allowances, benefits during your
assignment at INTERPOL as well as travel, removal expenses related to your arrival at and departure from INTERPOL,
and any other related costs depending on your circumstances. It is requested that you obtain in writing confirmation
from your home Administration/Agency/Service/Government that it agrees with these CONDITIONS OF
SECONDMENT. This confirmation letter should be forwarded to us THROUGH THE NCB, who needs to validate your

candidate as a Cyber Strategy & Outreach Coordinator within the Cybercrime Directorate.

INTRODUCTION OF THE POST

Under the supervision of Head Cyber Strategy & Capabilities Development, the Cyber Strategy &
Outreach Coordinator is in charge of coordinating activities relating to cyber strategy, outreach and
partnerships, including but not limited to:

 Establishing partnerships with external entities, such as the private sector, on data sharing
and provision of tools, expertise and training in the area of combatting Cybercrime.
 Organizing global conferences and other related activities to facilitate the Directorate’s
outreach and partnership efforts against cybercrime.
 Monitoring of the Directorate’s performance targets.
 Coordinating Directorate strategic planning in line with Key Performance Indicators and
identification of internal and external funding opportunities.

The post holder is responsible for supporting the unit and other CD units, providing them with guidance
to ensure the proper implementation of policies and hierarchical decisions in a timely manner, in full
compliance with the Organization’s priorities.

The post holder is a point of contact pertaining to cyber strategy and outreach matters, and is expected
to provide advice to his/her unit head regarding further development in these areas. These include the
delivery of written analysis, status reports and oral presentations to be delivered during meetings and
conferences, both internally and externally. The post holder can also be called, upon request, to
represent the Organization for internal and external engagement pertaining to cyber outreach.

PRIMARY DUTIES

The post holder will provide support to the following main functions:
1. To coordinate, responses to the delivery of all daily and ad-hoc tasks pertaining to cyber strategy and
outreach, in compliance with the Organization’s priorities, management decisions and relevant
policies/rules.

2. To proactively establish, manage and coordinate internal and external outreach with partners in line
with the Directorate’s strategic and business objectives.

3. To monitor and report key performance indicators to the management.

4. To be a point of contact for internal and external partners with respect to cyber strategic policies,
outreach and partnerships, and be called upon to represent the Organization in that perspective when
required.

The post holder can be asked by his/her hierarchy to perform any task related to the relevant area, or the
Sub-Directorate’s mandate, or to perform any other duties as required by the supervisor in order to
ensure the Organization can continuously provide efficient support to the member countries.

REQUIREMENTS

WORKING CONDITIONS

Remuneration: INTERPOL does not pay salary to seconded officials. Depending on the nationality of
official, an expatriation allowance may be paid for a maximum period of six years. For more information

The incumbent will be occasionally required to work irregular hours or overtime based upon workload.

This post requires occasional travel on missions, sometimes of a long duration and at a short notice.

In order to be a staff member at INTERPOL the proof of fully COVID-19 vaccination status is a mandatory
requirement. The person is considered fully vaccinated if he/she has taken all the doses (initial and
booster doses) required by the local health authorities of his/her country of residence/origin. This may
imply a reduced number of doses if the person has recovered from COVID-19 infection (requirement for
