V. Narrative Report:
The office of the Undersecretary for Administration (OUA), through the Bureau of Learner Support
Services – Youth Formation (BLSS-YFD), conducted a virtual celebration of the International Youth Day 2022 with
the theme “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World For All Ages” on August 12, 2022, from 9:00 am to
12:00 noon via the DepEd Tayo- Youth Formation Official Facebook Page.
This year’s celebration intended to amplify the message that action is needed across all generations to
achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and leave no one behind. The event also focused and rose
awareness on specific barriers to intergenerational solidarity, notably ageism, which impacts young and old
persons while negatively affecting society. It also provided venue to engage and mobilize learners with various
backgrounds in participating in various interactive and participatory youth activities anchored on DepEd Core
Values (Maka-diyos, Makat-tao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa).
All teachers and advisers, officers and school members of all school clubs and organizations, student
leaders, learners, and other concerned were encouraged the participate in the said celebration.
Yours truly, the SSG Adviser, together with members of the PNHS School Youth Formation, including the
Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and Barkada Kontra Droga attended the webinar from August 8 to 12, 2022. The
webinar was fruitful because the leaders learned a lot from the activity.

conditions of the earth. This happens due to many internal and external
factors. The climatic change has become a global concern over the last
few decades. Besides, these climatic changes affect life on the earth in
various ways. These climatic changes are having various impacts on
the ecosystem and ecology. Due to these changes, a number of species of plants and animals have gone extinct.
If we do not do anything and things continue to go on like right now then a day in future will come when
humans will become extinct from the surface of the earth. But instead of neglecting these problems we start
acting on then we can save the earth and our future.

The Filipino culture has varied influences from previous
colonization’s, deriving mainly from the culture of Spain and America.
You can easily notice it from the architecture to the cultural beliefs in
the Philippines. Despite all of these foreign influences, the old Asian
Filipino culture has been retained and are clearly seen in their way of life, cultural beliefs in the Philippines,
Filipino customs and traditions. Wherever you go, the Filipino culture and values are very evident and have
largely been appreciated and even applauded in many parts of the world.
