waves. Where maximum frequency is 60 hz and a spike is gained. What is
the minimum frequency? Draw the spectrum of all frequencies having same
amplitude.
2. The loss in a cable is defined in decibels per kilometer. If the signal at the
beginning of a cable with -0.2 dB/km has a power of 3 mw, what is the
power of signal at 6 km?

3. A telephone line normally has a bandwidth of 3400. The signal-to-noise

ratio in dB is usually 32. What is the capacity of the cannel?
4. We need to send 265 kbps over a noiseless channel with a bandwidth of 25
kHz. How many signal levels do we need?
