like the growth of hair, and specifically your reproductive organs?

18 : What is endocrine system and how does it works?
19 : To start with, it is important to distinguish between two glands of the body:
the endocrine and exocrine.
20 : Endocrine gland secretes hormones into the bloodstream exerting
their actions on tissues remote from the site of action.
21 : Exorines Gland secretes substances through a duct opening in a gland onto an
 external or internal body surface like the salivary and sweat glands which act
1 on local tissues near the duct openings.
2 : The endocrine system is a network of glands that produce and release
hormones that help control many important body functions.
3 : What are the hormones secreted by male and female reproductive
system?
4 : The endocrine system plays a critical role in human reproduction and
sexuality.
5 : The testes or ovary develop from embryonic gonads wherein the
chromosomal and genetic sex is determined during fertilization.

7 RADIO TEACHER : In male, the testes (testicles) produce testosterone, a hormone that brings
about the physical changes that transform a boy into an adult male.
8 Throughout life, testosterone helps maintain muscle and bone mass, sperm
production, enlargement of male genitalia or penis and sex drive.
9 In female, ovaries produce estrogen and progesterone. Estrogen stimulates the
development of female secondary sex characteristics like breast development,
wider and rounder hips and also promotes the growth and maintenance of the
female reproductive system.

11 RADIO TEACHER : Progesterone prepares the endometrium for implantation of fertilized egg and
later by the placenta during pregnancy.
12 : What are the reproductive hormone disorder?
13 : Reproductive hormone disorders can affect fertility and may have long-term
effects on metabolic, cardiovascular and bone health.
14 : Ovarian insufficiency (sometimes called premature
menopause).

16 RADIO TEACHER : It occurs when the ovaries either do not develop or are
damaged and no longer function normally.
17 : Ovaries can be surgically removed, or damaged by the immune
system, or from chemotherapy, or radiation treatments for
certain types of cancer.
18 : The premature loss of ovarian function (before the age of 40)
can result in infertility and the loss of the beneficial effects of
estrogen and progesterone, including benefits to bone and
heart health.
19 : Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a metabolic condition
that occurs in some women of reproductive age.
20 : Symptoms can include irregular menstrual periods, loss of
fertility, increased hair growth on the face, chest, or abdomen,
acne, and a tendency toward weight gain and insulin resistance
(diabetes).

22 RADIO TEACHER : Low level of testosterone in men. The causes of low testosterone can be
testicular trauma, radiation or chemotherapy for certain types of cancer,
infection or loss of blood supply to the testes.
23 : Also, the loss of normal hormone signalling (luteinizing hormone) from
the pituitary gland can lead to reduced testosterone production.
