Objectives
Matutum View Academy adopts scripturally-based philosophy, objectives, and denominational standards as bases for student’s mode of life through spiritual and intellectual,
social, physical, vocational as well as in civic aspects of development. Its objectives are:
1. Religious
a. Demonstrate good moral virtues
b. Cooperate with the school family in promoting the religious program of the school.
c. Participate voluntarily in the public religious activities of the academy.
d. Engage regularly in private devotions
e. Pursue the true knowledge with God as the source of wisdom
2. Intellectual
a. Develop the ability to think deeply and intelligently
b. Acquire and muster the common store of appropriate secular knowledge and tools of learning
c. Apply proper solutions to the practical problems of life
3. Social
a. Regards others as worthy of respect
b. Accept all others as friends despite social origin and status
c. Show acceptable behavior in all relationships
4. Physical
a. Practice temperance and moderation in all aspects of life
b. Engage in wholesome recreation, adequate exercise and useful labor
c. Teach that proper diet promotes sound mental and physical health
