2. Assumptions:
a) Prestressing wires used are conforming to IS : 1785.
b) Concrete used is M-30 conforming to IS : 1343-2012
c) All quality assurance for work is as per IS : 1343 and IS : 456
d) Min. Spacing is as per IS : 1343-2012.
e) Min. Dia of wire is as per IS : IS : 1785.
f) Grade of Grouting material or concrete is M-30 conforming to IS : 1343-2012
3. Details Provided :
(i) Ht. of wall = 1.775m above GL & 0.535 m below GL, Total Ht. = 2.31m.
(ii) Column spacing = 2.135+0.125=2.26 m c/c.
(iii) Column size = 175x125, Column cut size = 50*25, 2 nos.
(iv) Cross Sectional Area = 175*125-2x50x25 =19375 mm2 or 0.019375m2
(v) Moment of Inertia = 175*1253 / 12-2x503*25/12 = 27373906.2mm4.
(vi) Size of panel = 50*300*2135, No. of panels =4.
(vii) Wire Used= 3 mm dia, fy=1.865 kn/mm2 , vide IS: 1785.
(viii) Area of cross section of wire = 7.07 mm2 .

The precast pretensioned PSC columns & panels are structurally safe under wind load
conditions for basic wind speed of 47 m/s.
