ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. Program: CONDUCT TRAINING/SEMINAR -WORKSHOP REQUIRED IN JOURNALISM

II. Rationale: Campus Journalism is one of the Deped’s recognized programs that has
been proven to be an effective avenue for the learners in expressing their
thoughts, ideas and their learning through writing, illustrating and
broadcasting.th

Pursuant to the republic Act 7079 or the Campus Journalism Act of 1991 which provides for
the development and promotion of Campus Journalism (CJ) an other related purposes, the
program is strengthened through the holding of competitions. As such, campus Journalists are
able to exercise what they learned on trainings and measure their capacity to campus
journalism.
These are the reasons why the Bayani Elementary School will hold 2022 trainings/seminar-
worshop to open the avenue for the CJs to express their Journalistic skills.

Training/seminar-workshop required in journalism.

V. Objectives: This activity aims to enhance pupil’s writing skills by providing activities in
journalism writing and basic layouting of the school paper.

VI. Outputs: Enhanced pupil’s writing, number of writing materials and activity sheets
Developed and published school paper.

VII. Activity Description: Training/seminar-workshop required in journalism.

VIII. Performance Indicator: Total number of Published School Paper.

IX. Participants: Participants to this activity are the elementary and secondary School Heads,
qualified students and parents of the qualified students.
