Internship report in “Service Sector” under my Guidance for the partial fulfilment
of the requirements for the award of the degree of “BACHELOR OF
COMMERCE HONO URS” from BENGALURU CITY UNIVERSITY, during
the academic year 2021-2022.

A company wants to
launch a product in the
market. So how should it
get to its customers? How
does the company make
sure that the products
gain aware ness? The feel
and touch reasoning still remain strong in the mind of the consumer. So
although you have advertised in other channels, how do you explain product
usage to the audience? Call in the team. They innovate new styles so that the
product can make 3 its way to the consumer. They ensure that the samples
reach the desired households. For instance: when coca cola launched Vanilla
Coke, two men dressed in the 70s attire would enter retail grocery shops and
dance to the designed tune. This was the strategy used to launch vanilla coke
and make its entry memorable.
Finance Team: As the name suggests, finance team deals with the financial
implications of the event on the organization. The finance team estimates
the services costs, cost for promotion, logistical costs, human resource cost,
etc. That means the finance team has to look after the various factors that
affects the profitability of the management organization.
I.T. Team: I.T. team deals with technological aspects of the work. It deals
with the areas where the technology is used for managing the work. Those
areas could be promotion of the outsourcing work by radardo work,
designing the session, controlling the technical areas on the stage, etc. Hence
the team is responsible for all these areas.
Logistics Team: This team mainly deals with the logistics and
transportation factors of the services. The team has to identify the risks and
benefits arising out of the transportation of various equipment, etc.
Risk Management Team: The team has to identify the various risks arising
during and before the actual services. The organization has to control those
risks by identifying them earlier and finding appropriate solutions to avoid
those. The various risks can arise out of large crowds, using inadequately
trained staff, negative publicity, and many more.

Allowing insufficient planning time
Failing to communicate and coordinate fully with committee members

PLANNING PREPARATION
It's a good idea to establish a
formal event committee
consisting of committed
members who are clear about
their skills and what they are
prepared to contribute. One
person should lead the project as
the Event Coordinator. As early as
possible, outline the
responsibilities of each member-
their tasks, deadlines, reliance on other members for support and any
interdependency of tasks. When decision of conducting the event was taken the
teams which were formed earlier were not to be seen again and there was
change in members of team and in fact teams changed completely with only two
members remaining form the earlier team. Set realistic dates, times, Deadlines.
IDENTIFY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Main tasks for the event must be identified,
and individuals in the event committee
appointed against each task. Such tasks
include catering, competition, facilities and
equipment, finance, marketing and
communications, programs/ results/ awards,
security, support services, transport,
sponsorship relations and volunteers.
The domain for which I got selected in RADARDO WORKS was self financed
company Development
Executive. My role was to interact with people and explain them about the
opening of a zero balance bank account which was offered by RADARDO
WORKS and convince them to open a bank account.
We were given an offline training just before we started our internship to
explain us about the work we were supposed to do, whom should we report,
rules and regulations to be followed…etc. Two main things I have learnt is the
importance of time management skills and self motivation.
This was my second internship and the experiences with RADARDO WORKS
were good and a distinct experience apart from my academics. This internship
helped me to know how company works. At each day in RADARDO WORKS I
have learnt and gained immense knowledge about how the real marketing
works and how marketing is done and its strategies as well as enjoyed the whole
learning process. Initially it was new to me and the task we were assigned was
to make sales. I started working from the day I joined influenced some people
to join. But later it became hard as I had a less contacts and moreover it was a
pandemic time so some people couldn’t afford the fees. We also had a webinars
and reward ceremony. On the whole, this internship was a useful experience.
We have gained new knowledge, skills and met many new people. This
internship experience played a vital role in building my communicating skills,
listening skills and presentation skills. This internship taught me the significant
of making contacts with people and the way to influence. I thank my college,
my internship faculty, RADARDO WORKS for providing an opportunity to know
more about today’s world.
CONCLUSION
This internship has been an excellent and rewarding experience. I can conclude
that I have learnt many new thing from my work at RADARDO WORKS.
Moreover this internship indirectly helped me to learn independently,
discipline myself, be patient enough, self trust and taking initiative and solving
problems on my own effectively and efficiently. I have tried to perform all my
duties and responsibilities efficiently and effectively. The internship period left
me with sufficient knowledge and skills needed to be acompetent employee in
the future. I wholeheartedly thank the Internship Committee of Seshadripuram
College and RADARDO WORKS company for giving me such a great internship
opportunity.
