III. Procedure:
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Song
-Children will sing the song “Tigbato nga Kinaray-a”
2. Drill
-Children, I will flash the card and you will identify the name of the
letter and give the sound.
B. Learning Activities
1. Motivation
-Ask the pupils what is their favorite place to visit.
-Gather all their answers.
-Do you heard the song “Si Pelimon”?
-The teacher will let the pupils listen to the song to be repeated
3 times.
-Have pupils join in singing the song.
Ask: Where did Pelimon go?
What did he get from the sea?
Where did he sell the fish?
What did he buy from his earnings?
2. Presentation
-This morning we will learn another letter, this letter is letter Dd.
-Show to the children a power point presentation of a story that have
objects and animals that the name starts with letter Dd.
3. Discussion
-Give the name of each in the picture
-The name of this letter is Dd.
-Repeat after me.
-Let the children repeat the name of the letter several times.
-Introduce to the children the sound of letter Dd.
-Let the children repeat the sound several times.
4. Generalization
-What letter did we learn today?
-What is the sound of the letter?
5. Application
-What is the correct beginning letter of the name of each
picture?
-Pick the correct letter card and give the sound of the letter.
Choose the object which name begins with letter Dd and color
the object.
-Give the correct sound of its beginning letter picture of dila,
dulse, ayam, baso, dagum, pito, damang.
