FRONT BACK

SWOT Analysis

Strengths

Milk tea is known as a refreshing beverage which comes with a very affordable

price that is one of the reasons why it rose in popularity. Also, it can be served in a matter

of minutes as preparation of this product is fast and efficient with the use of equipment

such as the blender. The business itself requires less extensive work to do in which a few

workers would be enough to manage the job.

Weaknesses

The milk tea industry is rising each day, there are more milk tea shops opening in

every corner of the city which makes the product more redundant. In addition, the

selection of flavours are usually repeating from a store to another and there is a search

for creativity on this part.

10
Opportunities

As milk tea is a growing trend, it gives opportunity for business owners to earn

money. People continue to keep consuming milk tea through the days and it proves that

the industry is still far from dying. Also, there are marketing ideas on how each store

feature their products, one of which is the way they are packaged, it usually attract

customers if they find it appealing and/or peculiar.

Threats

The use of non-biodegradable plastic containers has been a global waste concern,

as it business runs with the importance of good packaging, it is hard to get rid of all the

plastics without affecting the number of customers patronizing the product. In addition,

the completive market seeks for innovation each day, it is important to keep on the track

with all the aspects of the shop and the product, if not, the store would be left out.

Marketing and Sales Strategies

The product would be marketed as a customizable milk tea to attract customers

with the option to modify their drinks and also provide delivery services within Iloilo City.

In the rise of social media, it is important to establish a Facebook page to promote the

store through the use of a video advertisement and also, a feature of Facebook which is

the Marketplace that can help boost advertising the store to the people in nearby

locations. In addition, the store would be available via Foodanda and GrabFood to

guarantee fast and safe delivery to the customer’s doorstep.
