A man gets an e-mail from his bank. The bank says that it needs his credit card
number, because there’s problem with his account. The man gives the bank his number.
Later, he checks his bank records. He finds out that somebody stole his credit card
number. All his money was gone.

This is a common Internet trick. Thieves often say they’re from someone’s bank,
and then they took them. We all have to be careful when we use the Internet. We’re
going to show you some simple ways to stay safe. If someone e-mails you and says he
or she is from bank, it’s probably a false e-mail. Call your bank to check. Don’t call the
phone number in the e-mail! That may be not real, too. Then, don’t post your personal
information on social websites like Facebook. Don’t let strangers get it.
Above all, follow two rules. First, never give out your personal information.
Second, remember that when strangers ask you for money, they’re probably trying to
trick you.
