Jaypee Institute of Information
Technology, Noida was established
in the year 2001 and has been
declared a “Deemed to be
University” under Section 3 of the
UGC Act 1956. The undergraduate
programs of the University have
been accredited by the National
Board of Accreditation of AICTE.
The Jaypee Institute of Information
Technology has defined new
innovative programs of learning to
produce human resources capable
of identifying analyzing and
solving problems.

At JIIT, great emphasis is placed on

developing a student on a solid
foundation of knowledge,
confidence building, pursuit of
excellence, improving self-
discipline, and enhancement of
creativity through motivation and
drive into an engineer well trained
for the rigors of professional and
social life. Students are
encouraged to make life outside
the classroom vibrant and
enjoyable by engaging themselves
in multiple extracurricular
activities either on the sports
ground or in hobby clubs.

The Joust of 2019 was an immense success with a huge number of participants
from across the literary circuit. We hosted a multitude of literary events where
we witnessed an overwhelming amount of talent. Due to the dormancy caused
by the Covid-19 pandemic and Lockdowns, JOUST could not be conducted for
two years. But it gives us immense pleasure that JOUST 22 is finally happening!!

The Joust’19 was organized by the Literary Hub of JIIT- Parola on 28th and 29th
September 2019. The 5th edition of the fest was spread over 2 days and had 9
events:

1. NIC: A simulation of the “National Integration Council.”

2. UNESCO: A simulation of the “United Nations Educational, Scientific and

Cultural Organization.”

3. IOM: A simulation of the "International Organization for Migration."

4.THE PRESS: Journalists reporting on the proceedings of each simulation in the

Conference.

5. CEREBRATE: The English Conventional Debate.

6. TARKSANGRAM: The Multi-format Hindi Conventional cum Parliamentary

Debate

7. VERSE: The Slam Poetry Competition

8. PENNED: The Creative Writing competition.

9. INQUIZITIVE: The General Knowledge Quiz competition.

JOUST’19 witnessed a huge footfall of more than 500 participants.

from about 68 colleges spread across Northern India.

Responsibilities:
The College Ambassadors will be provided with
physical and online marketing material which
they have to spread in their college as and when
told.

The selected campus ambassadors will have to

take seminars in their colleges in which our team
will also collaborate in arranging the same and
clearing doubts.

Process of onboarding:
Desirous students will have to fill the google form.
Students will be shortlisted based on google form
responses received.
The shortlisted students will have a virtual
interview scheduled soon after the deadline for the
registration form ends.
The selected candidates who pass the interview
round will have an induction meeting to brief them
about the work and responsibilities.
Thereafter there will be weekly meetings for
checking progress of the Campus Ambassadors.

Note:
Above deliverables are applicable only after
the selected campus ambassadors complete
their entire tenure of the campus
ambassador program.
The tenure of the campus ambassador will
be upto the event date. The tentative date
for JOUST is 12-13th November 2022.

Eligibility to apply
You must be an undergraduate/postgraduate college
student/school student.
