1.1. Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology


-State University located in the province of Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon
Philippines. And it is recognized as one of the four “Knowledge Eagle
University of Nueva Ecija”.
2.2. National Service Training Program
-It is education and defense preparedness program students. To
enhancing civic consciousness and defense preparedness in the youth
by developing the ethics of service.
3.3. Civic Welfare Training Service
-It is a program to aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and defense
preparedness in the youth. It is also aims to make students realize their
vital role in nation building.
4. Literacy Training Service
-It is a program designed to train students to become teacher literacy
and numeracy skills to school children, out of school youth, and other
segments of society in need of their need.
4.5. Reserve Officer Training Corps
-It is a tasked to train and develop college students in the rudiments of
Military Service in order to produce capable Armed Forces.
5.6. Commission on Higher Education
-The purpose of it is to improve student success by promoting equity of
access, affective teaching and learning, and curriculum enhancement.
6.7. Non-Government Organization
-Voluntary group of individuals, or organizations, usually not affiliated
with any government.
7.8. Department of National Defense
-It is to guard the country against external and internal threats. And to
provide support for social and economic development.
8.9. State Universities and Colleges
-This institutions are fully subsidized by the national government. State
colleges, universities make quality education possible to Filipino
families.
9.10. Central Luzon Polytechnic College
-The Central Luzon Polytechnic College located in the City of
Cabanatuan, Province of Nueva Ecija with its present branches at San,
Isidro. And it converted into a state university to be known as the Nueva
Ecija University of Science and Technology, hereinafter referred to as
the Univeristy
III. Answer the following questions briefly.
1. If the government has the prime duty to serve and protect its citizens, in return, what is also
our responsibility to the state?
- In exchange, I felt it was my duty to be a good citizen. It also includes acting lawfully to the greatest
extent possible. And That I should actively participate in government by voting and researching issues
brought to the public's attention. Moreover, at the level of a common core textbook, studying the
government and recognizing how the public services of life function.

2. Why is that the government recognizes the important role of the youth in nation-building?
- Since these teenagers will eventually become the leaders of the following generation, the
government understands the significance of youth in the development of a nation. Today's youth's
values and beliefs are where the fight for an ethical and effective government is being protested.
Since the future of the world depends on these young people, the government ought to help them
become leaders of today.

3. What do you think is the reason why female students are now required to take NSTP?
-I believe that because female students were still students, they are now required to take the NSTP.
Given that we all have the right to discuss this matter, women are also trained to assist the country in
times of need. It is crucial that we receive both training and a service. Additionally, serving in the
military is open to everyone, whether they are men or women. As it every citizen's duty to defend
their country from invaders.

4. Why are foreigners not required to take up NSTP?


-Foreigners are not required to participate in the National Service Training Program simply because they
are not expected nor compelled to help the country in times of dire need of help because they are
citizens of other nations.
