Rokomari.com is an E-business that mainly follows Business to Consumer (B2C) model


functions. Their main strategy is using the Internet to its maximum potential level. They are also
giving platforms to companies to enter the E-commerce sector through item to make this field
successful and achieve its corporate strategies. Rokomari.com acts as an intermediary for
companies and business. They have huge network of corporate account to whom they give
package deal depending on their needs. This creates the monetary need of the company.
Rokomari.com usually do not give advertisement deals to other companies to maximize their
profit. Their Supply Chain and Customer relationship management strategies allow users or
customers to access book related information through their servers and portal. They have the
option on their server in which the book readers can create profiles for ease of access and
efficient Customer relationship management. They employ an extranet with all their corporate
affiliates for immediate accessibility to sensitive info. Rokomari’s main strategy is to establish
their business through better service. Rokomari is only an E-business so it doesn’t have any
separate corporate strategy. For promotion purpose Rokomari has been indifferent since the
beginning because they don’t follow any promotional strategy. They believe that if they provide
better services to the customers then the customers will be satisfied and will become loyal and
turn into permanent and repeating customers. And this indifferent strategy of Rokomari is rolling
their business for so long.

Competitor Analysis
The book industry is a relatively unattractive industry due to its low cost of entry. This causes the
industry to be conducive to intense competition. For Rokomari, its current biggest competitors
are Boi-Bazaar and Daraz.
Similar to Rokomari, Daraz also has a huge inventory of books and accepts several different
types of online payments. Unlike Rokomari, however, Daraz only sells 100% genuine books.
Furthermore, Daraz offers a multitude of products besides books which make Daraz an one-stop
shop for all online purchases. BoiBazar has the most extensive book inventory in Bangladesh.

Alongside providing a plethora of different genres of books, the store is also said to have books
from the 15th century in its portfolio.
