I am JONATHAN RICARDO C. CUMLAT, unemployed due to job retrenchment and a solo

parent and a resident of Barangay #18 Abkir Vintar, ilocos Norte, I am the one who assumed the
responsibility of the head of the family in providing the needs and supporting financially my
niece and nephew who are still studying due to abandonment and prolonged absence of their
parent. With the desire of my niece and nephew to continue their studies and finish their
education, I am writing this letter to request from your good office the grant of educational
assistance to my niece, Norjanah Cumlat Natangcop, Grade 11-STEM (SHS) and my nephew,
Jadrei Alih Cumlat, Grade 9 (JHS) and both officially enrolled at Ilocos Norte National High
School (INNHS) due to the rising costs of school supplies, transportation, food, and other
incidental expenses associated in secondary education, family budgets and resources becomes
tight and costs are perpetually rising. I believe that quality education is one of the most important
means of ensuring a child's future, and we put the maximum efforts to make sure that education
is important to my grandchild. I am rest assured to you that granting of the said educational
assistance can be positively reinforced the desires of my children and will be a source of
inspiration to pursue their studies and look ahead of being able to help me financially through the
fruits of their hard work in school.

I am hoping to consider my children for Educational Assistance/Financial Aid, Thank you and
