 More than 15+ years of experience in the Basic & Detail Design Engineering of Electrical System & Electrical
Equipment installations in one of the Largest Refinery in the World – Jamnagar (Reliance Industries Ltd.).
 Proven track record in Engineering Design of HV/LV Electrical systems in Continuous Process Refinery,
Petrochemical complexes & Infrastructure Projects. I have executed various Mega scale projects in the capacity of
Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer & Lead Electrical Design Engineer and presently working as Lead
Electrical Design Engineer (DGM) from the grass root levels, encompassing following activities:
 TECHNICAL SKILLS:
 Familiarization with International Engineering Codes & Standards, Indian Standard (IS), IEC, IEEE, OISD, CEA
Regulation, SHELL DEPs, Project Specifications and other Electrical operating philosophies.
 Developing & Reviewing of Project Design Basis, Project Specifications, and Guideline/Calculations along with
reputed consultant.
 Involved in preparation & review of Main Key Single Line Diagram (SLD), Protection SLD (HV & LV distribution)
from voltage level 220kV to 415V for Main Receiving Substation at Captive Power Plant and Main Substation &
Satellite Substations at Process Plant area.
 Exposure in several Power System Studies i.e. Short Circuit Study, Load Flow, Motor Start-up, Arc Flash and Power
System Protection Co-ordination from 33kV to 415V Power System on engineering software like, ETAP Power Tools.
 Performed the Protection Settings for Grid Transformer Overloading Shedding and implement in EDMS system.
 Expertise in preparation & review of Material Requisition(MR)/Data Sheet for Electrical Equipment i.e. Power &
Distribution Transformers, HV & LV Bus Duct, HV & LV Motors, HV & LV Switchgears, AC UPS systems, DC UPS
Systems, package items i.e. Electrical Heat Tracing etc.
 Expertise in preparation & review of Sizing calculations for Cables, Transformers, AC & DC UPS System, DC Load
Profile, Battery, Cable Raceways, Earthing and Lightening systems.
 Developed a Cable sizing calculation template for 6.6kV & 415V level loads i.e. Motor loads & Non Motor loads.
 Expertise in preparation & review of Electrical Substation Building Layouts with compliance latest Codes & Standards.
 Review of Hazardous Area classification layouts and Selection of equipment based on Hazardous Area classification
layout.
 Involved in review of the conceptualization modeling of Cable trays/Cable Trenches/Equipment modeling and Clash
checks etc. in 3D design environment (PDS using EE Raceway).
 Review & Approval on Lighting, Earthing and lightening protection layouts for OSBL & ISBL Process area.
 Review of Preliminary estimated bulk MTO, SOQ and detail design MTOs.
 Developing logics, schematics for interface with Electrical Controls and Instrumentation.

  Extensively worked in multi-discipline project environment interfacing with other disciplines, with regular interface
with construction personnel to resolve Site queries.
 Participation in Bidder technical offer review, Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor documents review, FAT,
Engineering Clearance & Project PO closeout.

 Resolution of Site commissioning queries.
